I was thinking... With the amount of podcasting GB is doing nowadays... I think it might be worth it for them to get their own podcast setup instead of always having to rely on CBSi's setup.
Not something as the current podcast room but something like they had back in the Whisky days would probably do the job real well.
They do, Justin interviews the reviewer. And yeah, it's a great idea.
They can use the UPF set like they've done for a few Bombcasts (the GOTY ones last year, the Bombcast where Tim Schaefer came on for a minute). If they want to get better mics for it they could buy a few more of whatever Jeff was using when he and Rorie recorded the live Bombcast episode before Christmas. That could at least be a decent backup for them, anything more probably wouldn't be worth it when they have a dedicated podcasting room.
Did anyone compile a list of the questions? I can't bear to watch it, the wahjah is too overwhelming. But I think I could handle just reading what was asked... maybe.
Just a heads up, the guy who asked the "ethics in games journalism" question sent me a PM on GB explaining that the question was (obviously) not a serious one, that he intended it as a joke that wasn't a good one in hindsight. He also posted something on the GB forums. He lurks this thread and seemed pretty upset about what some people here had called him. So maybe take it easy if we're gonna go over the "lol PAX questions amirite" thing again.

I think the problem in part was someone asked the same question at PAX Australia last year and walked out during the answer when it was apparent it wasn't going to be Pro-GG.
fair enough, must be pretty shitty to have a joke backfire on you and then get a bunch of shit from it.

Yep, the city that just held their Mardi Gras celebrations is preeeeeetttttyyyy conservative.
Australia as a whole is pretty conservative much to my chagrin.
More conservative than Melbourne sure, but that's kind of like saying Los Angeles is more conservative than San Francisco. There was the annual LGBT pride parade this weekend in Sydney (the Mardi Gras) actually which is a pretty huge/popular event.
"Inner city" is basically code for "left wing" in Australian politics, and unsurprisingly most Australian youth aren't that conservative, so who knows where this person was from.
Doesn't even mention if he was Australian. Though that would be some terrifying dedication to fly around the world to put a group of people you loathed on notice and immediately leave.
Regardless, having read this Pax East go-ers thread on the Giant Bomb forums I'm pretty glad to hear it was a joke (he mentioned his follow up question was going to be "how many ethics should there be? 5?").
I'm playing through Majora's Mask on the 3DS right now for the very first time (had it on gamecube for the last 15 years but never actually booted it!). I did the second dungeon tonight and I gotta say, Patrick is right, that game is fucking rad.
The whole time thing which was always the biggest turn off for me turns out is a really cool mechanic. I really love the uniqueness and the small things that don't follow the standard (and tired) Zelda formula.
Also, I'm having a LOT more fun playing through MM3D than I had re-doing Windwaker HD recently. WW lacks content and the dungeon in the game are fucking terrible. You have to repeat the dungeons and most of them involve super annoying escort quests.
Basically I think that Windwaker is the most overrated game in the franchise by far. It's kinda terrible.

Paxamania was great. Even the crowd was super into it and chanting along, unlike last year.
I remember having the same realization as Jeff when they talked about that on the Bombcast.
