So should I check out this Paxmania thing even if I think N64 wrestling games are super boring to watch?
For sure. They only played one match of a N64 wrestling game.

The stories about Dan's grandfather had me in stitches, sounds like he was a hell of a guy.Catching up with the Ryckert bonus podcast, its pretty damn good.
The "not blonde and her life hasn't imploded" burn floored me.
Doesn't Polygon do something similar? Could be interesting, like a mix between the dedicated podcasts they occasionally did and the Ask Me Anything videos.
Vince McMahons booking vs literally everyone else is pretty cool. The Run GFB storyline is more interesting than anything in WWE right now.

I was thinking... With the amount of podcasting GB is doing nowadays... I think it might be worth it for them to get their own podcast setup instead of always having to rely on CBSi's setup.
Not something as the current podcast room but something like they had back in the Whisky days would probably do the job real well.
Every Q&A is just a fucking cringe fest and who knows why GB keeps doing them. No one is served by these questions and even the best questions are nothing more than stuff that could easily be taken care of in a weekly podcast.
Just a heads up, the guy who asked the "ethics in games journalism" question sent me a PM on GB explaining that the question was (obviously) not a serious one, that he intended it as a joke that wasn't a good one in hindsight. He also posted something on the GB forums. He lurks this thread and seemed pretty upset about what some people here had called him. So maybe take it easy if we're gonna go over the "lol PAX questions amirite" thing again.

Dude got burned by Poe's Law it seems.
I think the problem in part was someone asked the same question at PAX Australia last year and walked out during the answer when it was apparent it wasn't going to be Pro-GG.

Not that I know of, but the incident was covered here

good to hear everyone else in the crowd was seemingly against him, at least I guess?
Melbourne's a pretty liberal city so that doesn't shock me.
Is there an archive of the making video sausage panel anywhere? I know that it wasn't live streamed but I'd like to watch it if there is a recording somewhere
Yep, the city that just held their Mardi Gras celebrations is preeeeeetttttyyyy conservative.Ah, so he was from Sydney then eh? (I think I remember hearing it was a lot more conservative there? could be talking out my arse though)

I hope we can get a OlliOlli2 quick look this week. It would be a shame if that great game gets overlooked because of PAX East.

I am way into the idea of a review podcast.
daydream has. Why do you think he never posts anymore?

This was the best thing at Pax, I want to see how crazy this wrassling thing will take them.
