I didn't even know item descriptions and NPC's had lore my first playthrough in DS1, but it was already a 10 for me. The lore just adds a new level of depth that the games don't need, but help make it even more amazing.

Wouldn't be surprised. As I said, GB has rarely reviewed long games on day 1. I guess that's what you get when reviews aren't a priority and you don't have any dedicated reviewers.

I think Jeff played it a little but he's *ahem* not very good and thats a lot more frustrating in CS than in other games

I'd like more stuff like this as well. Not necessarily CS or DOTA but just some regular content with a competitive game that someone on staff is passionate about. I was really hoping for more Street Fighter/fighting game stuff once I heard Jason was getting hired. Obviously Jeff loves all of that stuff too but I don't think he plays much of it regularly.
