Giant Bomb Endurance Runs: Season Two - Who The Hell Is Zach?

Having watched both, it's interesting to see the differences between the two runs. For instance, Brad tends to have a bad rap when it comes to game skill, but he picked up on a lot of the mechanics much faster than Vinny did.

The Vinny/Jeff chemistry is better, but it's kind of funny listening to Ryan laugh with sadistic glee at Brad's annoyance with the game.

Every day will be a wonderful day from now on.

Throughout my time listening to Bombcasts and watching Quick Looks, I've noticed that Ryan and Brad can be pretty mean to each other. :lol

Two endurance runs at the same time man...

VJ had some pretty stressful moments during the P4 endurance run, but I think they we're able to keep it together since Vinny is such a nice guy.

Ryan and Brad though... I bet Brad will snap at Ryan eventually :lol

god I fucking love this game. just wrapped up my second playthrough over the weekend. can't wait to watch these when i get home, although i'll probably end up watching only team VJ.

for those of you genuinely wondering who zack is, read the following text at your own risk, it WILL ruin the game.

*spoiler removed because people are oversensitive women*

just finished the Brad and Ryan one, i like Vinny and Jeff sooo much more for these kind of things

i'm still gonna watch both of them though

This will be epic. Epic I say!

Team VJ have got the quick wit and are better at observation, but BR have got their own dynamic going, and Brad seemed to get a handle on the combat faster.

My birthdays tomorrow and this is the best possible present. The game is great and really starts getting good after the first combat tutorial area they did.

I'd get rid of that spoiler, no reason to tempt people into ruining the surprises.

Just got done watching the VJ episode, it was great:lol Starting the BR now! Brad at the controls should be great, I'm also glad Vinny is the pilot for the VJ one as well. I think both of them will bring out the best entertainment just as far as the playing goes.

Why would you even post that in here.

Anyways BR comes off so miserable. Will be fun to watch that implode.
because people were asking. its also in spoiler text, which requires a conscious decision to read.

relax. jesus.

Definitely enjoyed the BR episode as well. It wasn't as funny but still enjoyable, glad they're doing the double ER.

Was kind of hoping they'd wait till persona 5 to make it more special.

Also, isn't this game notoriously bad? i haven't watched the videos yet, but....

Urgh, this thread pisses me off. Fuckers who think DP is shitty, without having even played the game, deserve to be punched in the nipples.

It's very "so bad it's good". Even without the commentary there's plenty to laugh out loud at. The commentary just makes it that much better.

Wow, BR surprisingly had the more skilled playthough, but VJ was definitely the funnier one. I can't wait to see how these turn out.
Yeah, I watched the entire BR video first, and all through the VJ video, I was getting annoyed that it took them much longer to realize that the gun had infinite ammo, though as you said, it was the funnier one.

It's just because they were overthinking it. If you didn't already know the mechanics ahead of time, it made sense if you've played a lot of survival horror. How many games like that exist where they give you unlimited bullets?

If anything it was funnier watching Brad blow through a bunch of bullets, then afterwards think maybe he should check to see how many bullets he had.

to be fair, the game barely tells you how anything works. i can't wait to see how they deal with side quests and realize that they only work during certain chapters and then only during certain times of day, and even THEN not always.

if they don't get the radio it'll be painful to watch them drive EVERYWHERE.

I've not even played the game and I know about the radio at this point, I'm sure they'll get enough messages and comments to know about it soon enough.

When's the next episode(s)? I've watched both and I'm already getting withdrawals.

Well the original idea behind the Endurance Run was to have daily content on the site, assuming they're sticking to that there should be at least one video every weekday.

I am optimistic that they will be looking at the comments for the videos like they did with P4. They usually listened when people gave them tips about the game.

Ryan's laugh at the end of the BR-01 was so fitting. :lol

Extremely creepy and yet so right :lol.

Oh god yes, I've been dying for another Endurance Run and now there are TWO. Gonna start with Vinny and Jeff first, it'll be like meeting up with old friends again.

Doing 2 runs of the same game with different people is an awesome idea, will be interesting to see how the two groups play the game differently.

Also they should have took it one step further IMO, dave and drew for group 3.

6 total playthroughs of deadly premonition (3 for me, 3 ERs) is really pushing the limit. great game but man you'd develop some kind of psychosis.

Is it a problem that I find myself yelling often at Vinnie to reload his fuckin' gun? Nobody invite him to the zombie apocalypse...

Great ending of the first episode.
