Yeah I don't necessarily have that luxury of time.
If I'm enjoying my time in a coffee shop sure, I'll go black.
But sometimes I just need something to keep me awake, y'know.
Sugar should never be necessary. If you can't do it without, then there is something wrong with the base.
edit: making good coffee does not require much time? I am confused. It's for example either espresso or drip coffee, which you can make fast and good.

It takes as much time with an (electric) aluminium pot and good (self) ground coffee. You can tell I am not a fan of instant coffee
