I bet Max Payne on PC holds up but when I played the PS2 on PS4 release I had a super hard time with the aiming and moving in general.

2 holds up pretty well. It can be a bit bad about telling you where to go at times, and you need to abuse quicksave like pc games of old, but the shooting still feels pretty great. And the writing is top-tier.
