Mario/Rabbids is novel, but I can totally get why Jeff (IIRC) said it was best played in small doses. It can kinda drag.
I highly disagree with that, maybe for the first two worlds it's a fun romp but the moment you get you World 3 I'd say it's about as hard as X-Com on Hard.
This is still one of my favorite GB moments.
Dan: Gills Dutweeb!
Jeff: Yeah that's how you say that.
Jeff mentioning on upf that he thought about a feature of him playing every nes game. 😂 People would of been so mad.

A total of 714 known licensed game titles were released for the Nintendo Entertainment System video game console during its life span.
714 isn't that large a number. Especially if you play each for like 2 minutes at a time on an emulator.
Edit: A near-complete NES torrent is like 70 MB. That might as well be 0 MB!
Yeah wait why would people be mad at that.

Jeff's words: "Bare minimum 20 minutes"
Because there's nothing worse than old games.

Just had to quote this because it's my favorite post in the thread so far.Sigh, I know way more about SEO than I really want to...
No, it's not an issue. It so doesn't keep them up at night. Porn results are heavily deprioritized in google. Also the BBC has the benefit of having extremely high quality links to it and its properties, while the other term... uh... doesn't.
Make the cat play nes games. Problem solved
If eight Giant Bomb members do simultaneous NES steams and coordinate properly to split the games amongst them, that's only about 12 hours a piece at 20 minutes a game. For the entire selection of NES games.
That's straight-up doable.
Yeah but they prefer to play good games.NES is too easy. They should play every PS1 game.
That was my suggestion for Monday content. Stay at home. Everyone does a 2h stream or they record themselves. Release that in chunks over the week. Easy.
It just makes too much sense.
Bad games lead to good content.Yeah but they prefer to play good games.
That sounds dull and just filler content for the sake of having content. I'd rather they play something together.

No.
You're wrong.
This would give us weekly chill Brad streams.
This is the goal here.
Plus more content in general.
I would take it if only one of them does a 2 hour stream each week and they cycle around.
Just give me more than two Brad-streams a year.
Well get Brad to play some Switch games as and when they come out if he's interested in them. Everyone playing NES games sounds good for those with dogs that they leave on their own so they have some noise, the elderly and that's about it.

Why? We don't know if Monday streams are going to continue post-PUBG (my bet is of course they won't) so having them just recording 2h each on Monday and release those videos one by one each week would do wonders for the schedule. It would also be a nice way for someone like Jason to appear again. His strongest content are his streams at home. And he could play some weird Japanese games.
I mean, I'm not against your idea at all, in fact it sounds great.
I'm just saying if it, for some reason, isn't feasible there would be a lower effort alternative that could still be pretty cool.

Too hard. Play Wii U and Vita games. A week of content right there.
