itunes seemed to have been bugging out. It was downloading more than what the video was. :x x The progress bar was full but it had downloaded 6.9 gb when i had to stop it.

Yikes.

Ever since they split the videos into 4 different qualities, the RSS feeds haven't been updated to match the change. So you only have a choice between the super low res phone version videos or the super high res 5 gig videos. :(
 
Watching unprofessional friday now. I'm actually angry about how they couldn't figure out how to beat the saw guy.

Have Patrick pick up that extra ammo he found. Have Vinny die in front of the monster like last time, blocking him. Patrick kills the monster with the extra ammo. Vinny has full ammo to handle the rest of the level. Bing bang boom.

My favourite part of that quick look is how at the start Vinny says that they are going to take it seriously and not goof around, then this is immediately forgotten 10 seconds later when Vinny is jumping up and down to try and see in a window.

Yeah it was the best bombcast in a while. Really brought me back too. Also, I'm about the same age as Ryan, Brad, and Vinny and I had no clue what the fuck the Schmoo was.
 
this weeks unprofessional fridays is so great. more cry of fear is always a good thing.
 
The RC Car bit really made me think. We always talk about how the gaming medium is terrible at preserving itself for history, and some games have been lost to history/only available to diehard collectors.

That has to be an infinitely bigger issue with flash games. Think about it. If you're like me, you probably wasted a great deal of your life on cheap games on Neopets, Newgrounds, Nick.com, or any number of cheap websites. How many of those games have simply vanished off the face of the internet, only physically located deep in some developer's old hard drive? They'll all be gone. Or is there some active preservation community for those that I'm not aware of?
 
The Cry of Fear QL is the best this year. So good

the web is archived fairly well Anything uploaded and rated in new grounds will outlive us all.(They blam the trash)If anyone will take interest in it is another matter. By the nature of being digital and easily copied. I'd take a bet in the future your kids will get to experience all the games you did. Perfectly emulated on quatom computers ;)

Oh, was already downloading the high res versions so didn't notice that.
 
Just watched the Spookin With Scoops from April. That was pretty great, save for the fact that Patrick fucked up the brightness on the second game. Slender seems to be a genuinely scary game.
 
No, I think patrick was in iceland when that came out. He seems to be the only who who played and beaten the first.
