I mean, you never know what people will take umbrage with. So I err on the side of caution.

Yeah it's not that bad. Just a bit muffledIs the podcast listenable? I shut it off after he said the problems it had.
The Fortune Street video is a terrible watch. The game is terrible. Like no skill, compared to Mario Party.
at its worst, it sounds like a skype podcast
Sweet will give re listen 👂Yeah it's not that bad. Just a bit muffled
I'm listening to that guy who was arguing with Phil Spencer's livestream.
He's actually so mad. It's amazing.
so is his argument that it devalues the game because it's not an exclusive?

Eh, it makes a little more sense now that he's talking it out. Basically he thinks the fact that it's not exclusive devalues his purchase of an Xbox as a whole. He bought one for exclusives, he pays 60 dollars a year for multiplayer, etc etc, and now PC players who don't have to pay get to play the game too, probably with better performance and with mouse and keyboard and against console players.
It's a stupid argument, but I can KIND of see where he's coming from. I guess he feels lied to because he wouldn't buy an xbox if there were no exclusives
Edit: Quantum break looks pretty cool. I hope it performs well on PC at 1080p high without that monster of a system that they want though. Hopefully it's a MGSV situation where the recommended specs are way overkill.
I don't understand why I've seen the pay for multiplayer argument so much today when Quantum Break is a single player only game.
It's really weird when you consider that Remedy hires a bunch of folks from the demoscene. You'd think crazy optimization would be their specialty.
Supposedly Gears 4 and Halo 5 have rumors swirling too, but those rumors have been around forever.
Watching Dan play XCOM is the most frustrating thing in the world
It's a childish argument he's trying to justify with bullshit. It's fanboy list wars and that's it. However, he's getting a lot of attention for his stupidity and based on what he's saying, I'm sure his target audience will eat it up. He'll probably get a nice little bump in subscriptions.
Quantum Break is an especially stupid game to be upset about given Remedy's history and how they basically winked winked and nodded nodded about a PC version the entire time they were making the game. Like what person who has followed Remedy ever really thought that QB was never coming to PC?

Alright hands up who's listening to the new Kanye
Didn't he say he was invited to Microsoft's 2016 E3 Press Conference a while back? If he's not careful, that invitation could be revoked.
New Mexico is a whole area in xcom? Rad.
Future is bright in the 505.
Alright hands up who's listening to the new Kanye
New Mexico in the same way there's a New India and New Brazil. I think they might have actually forgotten New Mexico is already a real thing.
I don't know. I do think it's funny how much both console makers are like 'Well, we definitely don't want the other console to have it.... but it's ok if PC has it'
They keep doing that and eventually even the mast anti of PC gamer will say 'well why the fuck would I buy your console?'
"This game is super hard, even on easy", as he does basically everything you shouldn't do in this game.
I think I wish they were still on that 16 hour lunch break instead.

As a primarily PC gamer, I hope the numbers keep showing that console and PC gamers are mostly different markets, as far as, Sony and MS are concerned so the console manufacturers continue to not consider PC while making their 3rd party exclusivity deals.
So he can brag about beating it with permadeath without letting anyone die?I never really get the point of leaving perma death on if you're just gonna save scum.

XCOM quicklook made it sound like Dan isn't a fan of the timers on missions.
I get the sense that every late PC release has been a success story. Takeaway isn't the late part, but PC is this huge market not to be ignored. Even with a small gap, Rise of Tomb Raider sold something like half of what it did on XB1 and 360 in its first week.
Serves a pretty good purpose in XCOM 2 though. The last game you could just overwatch everything to death and play super passively. It adds a sense of urgency and tension to the whole thing.Timers on missions are right up there with water levels and escort levels
Timers on missions should be optional.
Maybe they are.
I don't know.
