Saint's Row: The Third ROBBED? HOW COULD THIS HAVE HAPPENED. Everything was so lined up and perfect! ::flips table::
Logically I don't see how a game ends up on on top of 3/4 of the "main dudes" list (and not even on Vinny's), and still loses out, but I'll have to listen to this monster of a podcast to find out. Fuck.

Just listened to the first hour of the first podcast and the spoilers are getting too much for me to listen anymore. Is it all like this or was this just true of the first episode?
Edit: To be clear I'm not complaining. Not sure how you could talk about "Best levels" without getting into spoilers, I just want to know if I should try the other episodes or give up on the whole thing.

Most likely. I just really thought that because Skyrim is already going to have 4,000 quotes to spew on it's GOTY cover, that it would've been really nice to see a major site get behind Saint's Row. I wouldn't call it an underdog, and 2nd place is good, but... if you ain't first, you're last.

Saying they should've picked Saint's Row: The Third simply because everyone else is picking Skyrim is also kind of undercutting how good SR3 really is, though. I don't know what to think anymore. My life has been turned upside down.

The range of games they talk about in-depth is not that wide. They spoil Saints Row, LA Noire, Gears, Driver and Modern Warfare quite a bit, but most other games don't get the spoiler-treatment.
The last podcast may be worse, though.

Interesting to see Witcher 2 on the list, and it's also surprising not to see Deus Ex: HR.

LTTP but I just want to say the GB videos were AMAZING. Jeff's in particular had me cracking up. Major kudos to everyone involved.

Not a particularly great list in my opinion. Skyrim certainly shouldn't be crowned GOTY... maybe 360 and PC GOTY but not GOTY overall, massively undeserved. Then again GB have clearly never given a flying fuck about the PS3 so I shouldn't be surprised.

Patrick's list probably includes the most of the internet's fan favourites. Especially with Catherine, Zelda, Shadows of the Damned and Sword and Sworcery. He only lacks a proper handheld game and Bastion to cover all grounds. Even though I find it refreshing to not see Bastion on a list. Don't understand the love for the game.
It looked really lame to me, I'd be surprised if this is the lofty heights.
Patrick's number one was Skyrim? Wow, that's surprising. He seemed to be the most negative on the game in all of the GB crew's discussions about it, or at the very least was always seemed to be first in line to point out the game's flaws. I'd almost gotten the impression he flat-out hated it.
But hey, I'm glad at least one of them chose Skyrim as their #1, I'm just really surprised it ended up being Patrick.
