God I hate rachel. Finns just an idiot, rachel is a bitch. I really hope she redeems herself because she makes me not want to watch this show anymore.

Wow Dalton Academy actually sucked

That song is awful and they did nothing to make it good. Practically the same dance moves we saw in Teenage Dream too. Just no overexcited guy rocking out behind Kurt to make it a hilarious scene.

The tie was kind of TV lame, but I get it. Gotta have both groups at regionals.

I like Emma and Carl together, but I also like her with Will when he's not in douche mode. I like to see Jayma get some more story that doesn't just revolve around the love triangle though.

The beginning of the episode was kind of meh, but it definitely picked up at around the halfway mark. ND's performances were excellent, the dance spotlight was totally radical.

I don't really get Lauren's attitude though, if she hates glee club so much, why was she so peppy at the end? It's not like that was a competition performance.

Let Tina sing more please. Thank you.

Same reason Rachel and Santana are smiling at each other during the song. The writers make no fucking sense.

Does this really need to be explained? they came to her and asked her to join so of course she is going to act like she does not want to be there. Same reason Santana acts the way she does.

Mmm Train song....

Glee was awesome as usual. Good to see a choir ep after all the plot lately.

Done. Rachel has single handedly turned me off of this show for good.

Ooh I love when whiners leave for good!

Pretty good episode, but one of the first things that struck me about it: the writers actually had a character point out how incredibly fucking dull Sam/Quinn are, yet the episode did absolutely nothing to address that. Hard to avoid the conclusion that they have no idea what to do with Sam.

really liked this episode plot wise.
- kurt having a decent non-annoying episode.
- Awesome Brittany quotes
- semi-addressing the Rachel vs Kurt plot line
- having other people sing for a change (this is a big one)
- not trying to shoehorn sue in
- Twist.
- Blaine (God Damn)

things i didn't like:
- New Directons getting more time to sing.
- other groups were crap.
- the Aryan twins coming from the back of the theatre just like Flynn and Rachel do (wasn't the point to be different?)
- the lame arse tie.

It was an awesome episode. Wow they finally shut Rachel up! Amazing:lol . Can't believe she half cheated on Finn. Kurt finally understood how selfish he is too. On that note it's funny they said his song was egoist while Blaine did all of the song by himself at sectionals. The whole plot with Britanny, Tina, Mike and Artie was stupid though. The tie was expected since they need to increase the pressure on ND now they have to face Dalton and Vocal Adrenaline again.

Aren't high school glee club competitions for, I don't know, high school students?

Will explained three episodes ago that the Hipsters were in a continuing education program for senior citizens getting their GEDs. Hey, it's Glee.

Miles and miles and miles ahead of last week's travesty, aside from the bizarre contradictory moments here and there in character motivation. I can totally look past the fact that the characters are able to smile and put aside differences during a song though; they're performers, it's what you should be able to do even as a high school theatre student, or glee student, or whatever. Rachel's a performer; she'll ultimately be able to smile and do it.

I didn't really know or expect any of the songs this week, and ended up enjoying practically every one.

The Warbler style is totally burned out on me now though. I love Blaine to death and want him to take me hard and into the night, but man, I'm done with them unless they do something dramatically different at Regionals.

The tie was retarded, but I guess it had to happen.

Loved Kurt this ep; totally different from recent gay-sploitation eps.

Great ep!

"I'm not nervous....you know why? Because show choir is stupid."

:lol :lol :lol

And I agree about Sam and Quinn; they have no idea where to take their story, and I don't much like listening to either of their voices (or whatever Glee post-prod. turns their voices into :lol)

(Not the best song on the album, but the video is just fabulous, in the best possible flamboyantly-gay sense of the word.)

i prefer 'drumming'. I like 'you got the love' too but the fact it's a cover means i like it slightly less. However, that said the album is amazingly strong and cohesive. There's not a single bad song on it. Just balls to the wall awesome.

It's weird hearing that Florence + The Machine are "indie". When you do a duet with Dizzee Rascal at the BRIT Awards you are most definitely not indie. I guess they mustn't be too big across the pond.

What an amazing episode. It's like Ryan Murphy read my post a day or two ago, discarded whatever he was going to show today and gave an episode that addressed all my pressing concerns.

Kurt, Rachel and Finn were basically thrown to the backburner. They all got little screen time, got rejected or yelled at, and -most importantly- FINN DIDN'T SING.

And to top it all off, superior, often-ignored characters got centre stage. I am shaking and crying, what a flawless episode.

P.S. Brittany and Mike's dance was incredible. Genuine, non-processed talent at display.

Well, I'm glad Rachel's plan from "Duets" backfired. I was spoiled about Santana telling Rachel about her and Finn and I'm glad they got that out of the way in the beginning.

Yay, Emma. I was glad to see her and mmm, Mr. Schu is hot when he gets angry. Rachel's been very annoying this eppy but it was nice to see her bonding with Kurt. I like how they respect each other. Speaking of him, he was likeable but he looked so damn uncomfortable during The Warlblers' number. Like he didn't know the choreography or he was too nervous. I liked the song but it was boring with just Blaine singing it.

"Best green room ever"
"I thought [adultery] meant me being stupid. Like being a dolt"
"And you let me comb my hair with it?"
LMAO.

Dianna Agron is so pretty :3 But yeah, Quinn and Sam are bleh. "Valerie" was pretty awesome. Heather Morris and Harry Shum Jr. were great during the number. The tie was uber lame, ugh.

Rachel you're a dumbass. Tina and Mercedes' duet was pretty cool. So is Lauren going to be a permanent member of the club now? I thought she was going to leave by the end. In end, pretty fun episode. I really liked it :D

Huh? Performances aside, I can't see how this episode was anything but all about Kurt, Rachel, and Finn in that order. Brittany got some (entirely welcome) story time, but that's about it.

I think it's interesting that in an episode about how in-universe everything revolves around 3 or 4 people, the story part of the episode still did exactly that.
