Ryan Murphy is only expressing how much of a fucking douchebag he is. Your senseless defense of him does nothing for the show or changing anyone's opinion about it.

I'm not trying to change opinions. What people think of my love of the show is their issue. I'm perfectly happy with myself.

Plus I only watch shows I like so I've got high ground here.

Ryan Murphey has given me countless hours of entertainment. He's hardly a douchebag. Plus his elevation of gay issues on TV makes him a fucking hero in my book. If tools wish to hate on his show while watching it every week, more power to Ryan really.

How long do you think they will keep Kurt's prep school plot line going? I'm kind of bored with it and wish he was with the main cast again.

soon
kurt is confirmed to go back to mckinley, and blain is gonna try out with the new directions at the beginning of season 3.

Yes, you have the high ground enjoying a show that's turned to crap and puling whenever someone criticizes it.

Enjoy the view.

No your opinion is worthless because you are the definition of hater. You watch a show you hate soley to cry about it here.

Null and void.
I'm still watching the show for a variety of reasons, which I explained in this thread ages ago. Not just to hate on it.

There have been numerous articles and reviews written about how the show has gone to shit, yet you still feel the need to attack anyone in this thread who has the audacity to insult your favorite show.

Sure, it's the Grammys, but the Foo Fighters have received 6 of them since 2001.
Do you feel the same about Kings of Leon, that they haven't made anything valuable recently so hey, let's start spouting ad hominem attacks because they don't want their music butchered for the show?

Nobody would care or even know about any of this if Murphy simply accepted that some artists don't want their stuff on the show. Instead, he decides he has to try and tear down everybody who has the gall to tell him "no."

I don't think that it would be possible to butcher a Kings of Leon song, since they are a pretty awful band. A Glee cover could only be an improvement.

Your explanation is about the same as someone saying "but I own a PS3" when trolling the game side PS3 threads.

Reading comprehension time for you. I don't say shit to 90% of people in any thread bashing things I like. I call people out when they constantly hate on things they don't like instead of just stop watching. All it does it shit up threads.

Oh I will Safety. It's easy since it's hardly crap. Always amusing and sometimes touching. Plus you guys constantly watch "crap" so there goes your opinion.

If the show fixes its flaws, I'll stop complaining about them. You act like I'm not allowed to watch the show if I'm not 100% crazy about it.

And your perpetual mindless praise really adds to the quality of the thread. What on earth would we do without your all of your "Awesome episode! Good job, show!" posts?

They aren't going to "fix" anything as they are giving the fans what they enjoy. Check the ratings.

And my positivity is based on true enjoyment. You watch a show with "cheap" sounding songs, "pathetic" characters that is "hopeless".

Pretty dumbass waste of time, wouldn't you say? No, you wouldn't as you are incapable of turning the channel so in turn Glee has higher ratings because of you, and is indirectly told that they are heading in the right direction. Fucking miserable people on the Internet.

It's bitter tears and they fuel the show.

Has there been any more talk on Season 3 being
the last season to feature these cast members? I think I would rather just suspend my imagination and keep them in school until the show is canceled or ends.

"Fuck quality! Our mindless zombie fans will swallow up whatever shit we give them, so why even bother trying to make a decent show anymore?"

And? It's a single hour out of my week. It's background noise while I do work or surf the web.

I watch all kinds of shows, even ones that I'm not crazy about. That way, when I offer my opinion of a show, I can at least back it up. I'm not some Glee troll who bashes it without ever watching it (and there are definitely a ton of those).

No, you wouldn't as you are incapable of turning the channel so in turn Glee has higher ratings because of you, and is indirectly told that they are heading in the right direction.
Do you have any concept of how television ratings work? I don't have a Nielsen box, therefore my viewing habits have absolutely no effect on Glee's ratings.

Every time I see the next eps ratings, it will give me more joy and you're the reason.

This isn't a fucking contest. I don't care how many people watch Glee.

I come here to offer my opinions on it. Simple as that.

Yes, his elevation of gay issues amounts to a flaming stereotype getting rushed into kissing a dream-the-impossible-dream guy who has no realistic characteristics whatsoever and is basically there to serve as the ultimate gay man's fantasy that doesn't exist.

Of course, you're free to just jam your fingers in your ears and scream LALALALALALA because that's all you ever do when it comes to discussion.

My biggest problem with this show is that they don't let any of the plot elements simmer long enough. For instance, in this most recent episode Quinn explains her plot of becoming Rachel's friend for personal gain but then she reveals her true motives the SAME EPISODE. I just wish they kept that going for a while so the pain would feel more significant when the truth finally came out.

Also, Kurt annoys the hell out of me. He's really a sarcastic, ungrateful asshole that uses his sexual orientation to seem like an underdog. Blaine deserves better.

You do realize he's not the first person to put gay teen issues on TV, right? Other TV shows have dealt with the issue and have done it better. He's hardly the "gay issues messiah" he says he is.

Sorry you see it that way. The millions of kids that watch it are what's important. <3

Murphy thinks of himself as a groundbreaking hero, that's for sure.

I just think the show is inconsistent as hell. One minute Kurt is crying over the bully kid threatening him, and the next Sue is slamming faculty and students into lockers and pushing them down stairs for comedic effect.

ZephyrFate said:
Yes, because what's popular is always good. God, I miss the days of good music.

I wasn't making that allusion. I was talking about the millions of kids that see the use of gay characters and storylines on Glee and accepting themselves and others because of it.

That's more important that the constant jaded bitching here from people who should have stopped watching long ago. The show is no longer for them. It's never going to be that show again.

I would hope that flaming stereotypes are NOT the types of gay characters that 'help' kids. Characters like Blaine, given any actual realistic traits, would be better suited.

Well, then frequent Glee forums and you'll see many gay and straight kids that take strength from the show, and be happy for them.

No I forgot this is the most evil, worst written show in TV that everyone here watches week in and out. ;)

I thought I was the only one that found the Blaine/Kurt stuff stupid. I really don't believe it. They spent 6-7 episodes showing how Blaine didn't like Kurt by having Blaine prefers Rachel and a random Gap employee over him and then he told Kurt upfront he wasn't sexy. Then all of sudden he realizes Kurt is amazing only because of a song? That was ridiculous all right. So basically Saint Kurt ran away form his bullying problems at McKinley high and was rewarded by clinging to a guy who obviously didn't care about him until a ridiculous plot twist.

Well, I found the kiss and the leadup to it very cute and that's only because Blaine has dazzling eyes.

The way he said, "You... move me..." was acted pretty well.

Unfortunately there's absolutely no reason for their relationship to exist aside from pandering to people like krypt0nian.

If valid criticism of your beloved show bothers you so much, start your own Glee thread where you can do nothing but kiss Ryan Murphy's ass.

You'll probably be alone. Even the people here who still like the show are willing to criticize it every once in a while. That is, everyone except you.

Let's not make this like the Lost thread where the lovers wanted a separate thread just for people to criticize it. That was quite annoying.

The writing was really fan fiction like for their scenes. Like when Blaine said " You're the person I've been looking for all this time" . Yeah that must be why you tried to date Rachel and that random dude and you went to Kurt's dad saying your son would bang random dudes at parties. I would have no problem with their relationship if they at least showed some logical progression over the season but what they did was instead show it wasn't going to happen then made it happen quickly out of the blue. RM writing is really weak for year long plots.

Well, not that I really care either way, but they explained that by saying it hadn't clicked for him yet. It clicked when he sang the song about the bird. As Blaine said, "oh, there you are".

Again since you're still in troll mode, criticism doesn't bother me. Plenty of people post criticism and I scroll past them. The idiots that consistently watch a show they hate solely to shit up this thread do.

You hate the show. Cool. I'll revel in the ratings that will bring a show I love to me for years, as you burn up with your hate. LOL

Especially since Ryan is doing such a great job with making gay kids feel wonderful about themselves.

More Season 3 talk from Ryan: - http://www.digitalspy.com/ustv/s57/...s-glee-blaine-storyline.html#article_continue

Glee creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed that he is currently considering enroling Blaine at McKinley High School for the show's third season.

Blaine was introduced this season as a love interest for former New Directions member Kurt Hummel, who left the school for rival glee club the Warblers after being bullied for his sexuality.

The character has since gone on to prove popular with fans for his acting and singing ability, and was recently promoted to a season regular.

"As long as these two are a couple, they'll continue to mix worlds," Murphy told People, seemingly admitting that Kurt will eventually leave the Warblers. "Until season three, where I think Blaine might have to try out for New Directions."

The creator also suggested that despite both Kurt and Blaine potentially leaving the Warblers for New Directions, the all-male choir may continue to feature in the show.

"The Warblers have to perform at the prom," Murphy added.

Murphy recently confirmed that Blaine and Kurt will continue to be a couple for the foreseeable future, after finally getting together in last week's episode 'Original Song'.

Glee will return in the US on April 12, and continues at 9pm on Monday on E4 in the UK.

HUGE awesomesauce news!

Wow, firestorm in this thread.

I just popped in to say that after I thought the show was basically unredeemable but only watching it because my wife does, the last episode may have been the best of the series. Heartfelt, the characters acting in character *and* in interesting ways, no Shu drama at all, fun original songs, and Dat Kiss!

Seems I might me in the minority on this one!

Jesus Christ, you're delusional.

I love how you're convinced that Glee's huge ratings somehow make me angry, yet I've repeatedly stated I don't give a flying fuck how many people watch the show.

Relationships rarely, if ever, begin like that. That's pure fantastical drama right there.
