Chris Colfer's a fantastic TECHNICAL singer but his voice just isn't that pleasant. Not really sure how to explain it, but if his voice was lower he would by far be the best male singer on the show. Glad he's back at McKinley though.

For a show that likes to focus on sexuality so much, it's funny that they skipped the "no matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian transgender life" line in BTW.

I love that the whole message of accepting yourself was constantly contradicted the ENTIRE show, ESPECIALLY when dealing with Emma's OCD or Santana's lesbianism.

Why the hell was Kurt's shirt "Likes Boys"? Isn't it supposed to be something you're embarrassed about? Kurt's like the most flaming gay dude ever. I'm damn sure he's not embarrassed about his sexuality.

I had a huge problem with this episode. For example, did they really need to do another Gaga episode? Also, Lucy "I have blonde parents that are actually good looking and quite thin but for some reason the writers decided to make me a brown haired big girl that got plastic surgery" Quinn Fabray. <-----This annoyed me the most about the whole episode. The only redeeming quality about this episode was Emma finally starting to deal with her OCD which is a HUGE step in her character development.

I've skipped a lot of episodes of glee but maybe i'm not getting something but why is that fat chick such a bitch and is still considered a good guy/person/whatever. The whole fat story with Quinn completely contradicts every point they made this episode.

No Finn, your girlfriend being fat before is not heroic. Her losing the weight(and her health) becoming more athletic, and yes getting a nose job is.

i want to make a new thread to ask this, but am hoping there are enough glee fanatic to answer in here. im wondering what everything thinks about each individual cast member's ability to turn this gig into a successful solo career? have any of them made steps in that direction?

i know there are Glee compilation CDs, but im not really talking about that

The guy who plays Puck (Mark Sailing) released a solo CD in like October. Thats why he wasn't in the early episodes of season two. nd Rchel (Lea Michelle) is a broadway performer

Brittany (Heather Morris) and Mike (Harry Shum jr.) are both professional dancers

Well Mark Salling (Puck, i.e. hot guy #2) released a solo album that bombed pretty heavily. I think it's coz he's such a minor cast member and his voice isn't really that great to begin with. And now Matthew Morrison (teacher, i.e. hot guy #4) seems to want to phase himself out of the show and focus on his... album? I dunno. Something he's doing. He'll probably do better.

I'm usually pretty good about ignoring the obvious flaws in this show and just enjoying myself but there were moments during this episode where I actually wanted to change the channel. I don't like adding negativity to the thread because it's unnecessary, but there were two things that actually bugged me:

1) Blaine singing a love song to Kurt then holding hands with him in front of the WHOLE school; the same school that gave him hell for being gay just like, eight episodes ago. Are those just the tolerant/accepting kids that were bobbing their heads and swaying back and forth to Blaine's crooning? I'm just, ugh

2) Rachel. Her storylines are so episodic. Every episode there's some dramatic something that she's dealing with and has to bring down the entire Glee club with her.

each of the like, 5 times she came into the scene and opened with 'i have an announcement' i would've said 'shut the fuck up bitch'

Glee makes no sense ever. If you can accept that fact, let it sink in, you can enjoy the show.

Quick thoughts.

  • I liked Santana's story the most last night.
  • Most of the songs bored me besides Born This Way which I wasn't looking forward to but I think the Glee version is better than Lady Gaga's version (<3 Tina).
  • The shirts were a nice touch but Kurt's was kind of weird based on what the shirt's were supposed to mean.
  • Will as always was still kind of creepy throughout the episode but he almost seemed like his Season 1 character at the very end when he jumped in with Emma.
  • What ever happened to Beast? Maybe she's mad she bought Artie those leg things and he never uses them? :p
  • It almost seems like the extra time was so they could do their Barbra Streisand number as that was pretty much just jumping around having fun. I enjoyed that part though.

Yeah, that bothered me as well. It's like they forgot they already showed her parents.

Yeah I have been wondering why he never uses them in the show. I know in the xmas episode he said he can't use them all the time. but still...

can't see her much outside of football coach. and the boys team isn't doing much now.

I thought The episdoe was pretty solid. Blaine's song was probably the best all episode... and I really hated Kurts "musical musical solo" that was awful to listen to and too long. Something about the voice.

so both the gay characters on the show hate the fact that their are gay according to their t-shirt? Its so bizarre. Maybe santana because she's still closeted but kurt?

And I didn't get Meredith (?Black girl) t-shirt. No weave? I'm guessing she hates that she's not wearing a hair piece anyhow?


Santana was hilarious all episode. The Lebanese joke was stupid but quite funny.
