she does better in debates though, and will get a moderate bump out of this. enough to keep her in the discussion.

Jeb! was a disaster though. he's going to be in the basement with christie and paul.

She's been getting glowing coverage and bump talk since her first debate and it hasn't done much. Whatever bumps she gets evaporate almost instantly.

Anglo-americans leaning towards Rubio has always been a great phenomena to me. He's just as rotten as the other folk there but I do have to hand it to him the way he plays up his past, heritage (lmao) and upbringing plus his young shine must be doing something to people's heads on the personality front. Cause there is not much besides that.

Cubans in the homeland must be biting their nails hoping that such clown gets demolished by Hillary is he's the nominee. Not that Cubans have options: Ileana, Cruz, Menendez, Balart, all clowns with a Cuban tag on Congress.

Carson will be leading consistently after this.

He's found his lane perfectly by getting out of every question he's clueless on by claiming the "librul media" is attacking him.

honestly, Fiorina shouldn't have even made the debate stage. I don't know why they aren't kicking more candidates to the kiddy table, isn't that why they have those debates in the first place?

Or is Reince worried that whittling down the pack will only help Trump consolidate his position even further?

He's tailor made for Iowa, but I'm not so sure he'll take the lead nationally. One poll is one poll, Trump is still ahead on aggregate.

Christie's debate team has prepped him good. They told him "look to the camera when you talk", and "focus on Hillary as if you're running against her." It's a classic debate strategy. It never pays off.

Christie hasn't been running for President for months now. He's just running for his own talk show really.

CNBC says Carson is leading Trump in some polls

HOW THE FUCK IS CARSON POLLING WELL?

A combination of Evangelicals supporting one of their own, him riding the "political outsider" train, him being an Uncle Ruckus, and his "intellectualism" based on the fact that he's a neurosurgeon despite that he doesn't know shit about politics.

that's the thing. she does well *in debates* but does nothing in between said debates to keep her numbers up.

Trump is a master at keeping himself in the news cycle, no matter what happens. Cruz is an excellent campaigner. Carson has the evangelicals locked up. Rubio has the media doing his hard work for him, propping him up as the next Jeb!

LOL Jeb.

His fat ass looking directly at the camera and talking down to the audience is not endearing or cute -- it's gross. He's no Ben Carson; that's for sure.
Exactly...you need a downright smooth operator like Bill Clinton to pull that stunt off. Not a big fat bully telling us he's good.

Even nationally though he always has favorable numbers through the roof. Every poll his numbers are absurdly good, even when factoring in the electorate as a whole.

It's not hard to see him taking over first.

missed the debate cuz i had to do homework...anyone willing to give a quick summary of what happened?

It was like watching the film Kindergarten Cop, but Arnold never gave a fuck about the kids trashing the classroom. Also, he cured tumors before, so it's not a tumor.

Damn it. I was playing Halo 5 and didn't realize I missed the circus. Anybody want to give a recap? Who won and lost, big moments, etc.?

He doesn't know shit about medicine either. The only question he was ever asked about medicine on stage was "Pants on fire"'d when he said too much vaccines may cause autism.

Favorability numbers don't always translate into actual support. If that were the case Joe Biden would be the Dem nominee without even running. All that number does is help explain the big number.

I'm not sure. Carson changed his position on ethanol. Iowa won't be happy

Oh, well he's straight fucked then as soon as that makes the rounds.

Btw, some of the questions were a bit ridiculous. I thought Christie, Cruz, and Trump slamming the moderators will play well to republicans.

Rubio, Cruz, Trump, Christie did well in my opinion. The worst was Jeb. Carson wasn't very good either but barely survived.

I think Kasich got more time than Trump and Carson. Apparently Jeb got the least.

Kasich is sounding surprisingly not insane

Kasich is probably the most sane person on that stage, but his delivery isn't up to par to make it super effective. I think he reiterated his experiences too much and failed to actually answer most questions lobbied in his direction. He was given more prominent time tonight than any of the first two debates, but he kept harping on the same talking points which personally drew me away from him.

Fuck, Clint Eastwood should be running for President. He was mayor of Carmel, that's experience enough.

In terms of Hollywood non-Democrats running for President, Clint Eastwood would be pretty far down the list. Arnold Schwarzeneggar and Jesse Ventura would probably top the list, being former governors of California and Minnesota respectively.

The GOP candidates have been playing the liberal media card for ages and apply it to anyone and everyone when confronted to sidestep questions. It was perfected by Fox when it comes to relate-ability with the base and candidates have naturally adopted it.

Wouldn't Arnold be disqualified for not being born American?

Especially towards the end when the moderator attempted to corrected Trump (the mod is wrong on this one) and the audience boo'd. The easiest applause lines are the ones about how biased the media is and how unfair the questions are. I think Carson and Trump are the big winners of the whole thing.

I'm disappointed Trump didn't go after Carson. Cruz might get a bump for his rant about the evil librul media. Some of those questions weren't necessarily liberal but just dumb. Jeb almost sounds like he sees the writing on the wall and doesn't have much to give. I guess the headline should be "3 Business Reporters Hurt 10 Millionaires Feelings on TV".

aanyone watching cnn, wow bush is.......emotionally destroyed

of course he is. his campaign is finished. "letting jeb be jeb" got him publically humiliated by rubio.

Carson and Trump are probably going to hold, or get minor bumps. Rubio and Cruz are going up big. Fiorina gets a slight bump. Huckabee holds. Everyone else craters.
