GOP Primary Debate #3 |CNBC| Burning Bush

I'm disappointed Trump didn't go after Carson. Cruz might get a bump for his rant about the evil librul media. Some of those questions weren't necessarily liberal but just dumb. Jeb almost sounds like he sees the writing on the wall and doesn't have much to give. I guess the headline should be "3 Business Reporters Hurt 10 Millionaires Feelings on TV".

Trump realized that he shouldn't be going after his VP like that.

Btw, some of the questions were a bit ridiculous. I thought Christie, Cruz, and Trump slamming the moderators will play well to republicans.

Rubio, Cruz, Trump, Christie did well in my opinion. The worst was Jeb. Carson wasn't very good either but barely survived.

I think Kasich got more time than Trump and Carson. Apparently Jeb got the least.

The moral authority question sent to Huckabe to create infighting with Trump backfiring was golden. Republicans united today against CNBC. Shitshow overall.

Jeb's campaign in a nutshell

Time dilation effect of Carson speaking. It's clocked at 7 minutes but we observe it as 15 minutes.

I love this answer.

He's not going to announce it after a debate obviously but this is another debate where he has shat the bed. His polls numbers will continue to be horrible....once the money decides to go elsewhere he's done.

yep. Jeb! is not making it to Iowa. its clear at this point that there is nothing jeb! is capable of that will turn his poll numbers around. all the ad dollars in the world won't overcome a candidate that has no charisma and can't think on his feet.

Try to go head to head with anyone else on that stage and he'd get destroyed. Even CARSON would simply not bother to wake up in response and he'd get applause.

LOL CNN why the fuck are you talking about Iowa? Have you actually paid any attention to the last few Republican nominations?

Did I hear correctly when Jeb! Said he would give a democrat a warm kiss for 10$? WTF Jeb? You aren't nearly as smart as your brother.
He said he will kiss any democrat that is willing to cut spending 10 times for an increase in 1$ of revenue. Obama and the Democrats all argued for 10:1 spending cut....Jeb has a lot of kissing to do.

What's amazing is that CNBC must have thought they were tossing Jeb! a softball with that fantasy football question and he still managed to strike out swinging.

trump and rubio did the best in my opinion... but "best" is relatively still shitty.

don't sleep on cruz. all three of them had a good night tonight.

this was the most amazing moment of the night. How do you not recognize a softball when you see it?

I can't see any of these candidates (except maybe Rubio) appealing to undecided voters. Can you imagine these candidates acting like this in a debate with Hillary?

The sheen there will come off when he's being challenged by someone more formidable than Jeb Bush.

no one paying attention to the third republican debate is "undecided." there is only shifting support between established players.

I know, I'm looking ahead to the actual presidential debates and imagining how much of a shitshow it will be if someone like Trump gets the nomination.

So what did that 'career ending stunt' that was mentioned before the debate turn out to be?

I thought it was Kasich with his scorched earth policy at the beginning.

The GOP candidates have been playing the liberal media card for ages and apply it to anyone and everyone when confronted to sidestep questions. It was perfected by Fox when it comes to relate-ability with the base and candidates have naturally adopted it.

Compare the first kiddie table debate to the second. They asked great questions about policy in kiddie debate. About jobs, debt ceiling, trade and stuff. First question to Trump being a circus clown or something. Then they asked him about bankruptcy. Asked him about 2nd Amendment. Gun free zones aren't exactly economy questions.

Asked Rubio about his personal finances. Now Cruz was asked a good question about the debt ceiling when he went on his tirade.

Overall I thought the early debate had much better policy questions.

Couldn't watch tonight. Did Carson made a complete idiot of himself?

They asked Carson about his association with a fringe medical group which he decried as propaganda then immediately said he did speaking appearances for them.

If it weren't for Trump denying stuff he said on his own website as a media creation it would have been lie of the night.

So you're saying Republicans don't parrot the liberal media defense when confronted with any tough question?

The debate format was terrible. You can't even really call it a debate when they just jumped around asking completely different questions to each candidate. Didn't help that the moderators had no control over it.

I gotta say, that debate was pretty bad. I usually enjoy the Republican ones, even though I hate all the candidates, but that was just rough to watch.

Rubio did very well, Bush did as well as usual, which is bad news for him. Trump did fine. Carson not as well as before, but he'll be okay.

Shit. Just about everybody did well. No wonder I didn't like it.
