Alright, now I'm confused.

I've just downloaded the Kikizo videos over here to find a few things to add over at my site,Secrets of Sonic Team, but I've come to a bit of a stop.

Y'see the ones under "Introduction videos"? There appear to be several incarnations of the final intro video.

1. Japanese - The first one shown had the names of the characters pop up when they appeared, including "Giant Egg" instead of Billy Hatcher. This was the group shot of them:

As well as Ulala looking back and forward, and the VF characters just sparring and looking confused afterwards.

2. The English version, with "Billy Hatcher". However, the actual font for the names were all in lower case, which was odd. They also added an "And More!!" at the end of the CG sequence.

3. Same as English, now with Capitals.

4. Now heres the odd one. The 17 meg one named "Japanese" on the Kikizo site has a whole bunch of stuff changed slightly. Firstly, all the writing has been taken off! The Virtua Fighter Characters now sparr a little differently:

Ulala's movement is different, and the group shot is also rearranged!

Now, I've been told that the PAL version includes the original style, not this new one. So if some people from the UK and US can point out what actually popped up in the final copy of their game? It's just difficult finding out.

Thanks :)

I have this game, but never watched the intro. :) Mostly I just played Samba de Amigo. Crazy Taxi was too humiliating too play. :lol

I could barely handle it... It's full 3d as opposed to the semi-2d Saturn game... You have to move your arms to the sides of you to control Nights as he flies through rings. With practice it would probably be easier, but there are sensitivity issues w/ the EyeToy, of course.

i think it's something like this (where 0 = head & /\ = arms):

\0/ = go straight

0/ = go right
/

\0 = go left
... \

0 = dash forward
/ \

It's a timed challenge, just like the Saturn game. I imagine you'd get a kick out of it if you're really into Nights, but it's kinda gimmicky, like most of the games. Overall it's better than EyeToy Play, though. Samba is really the most fun game on there I've tried, even if it's a tad easy.

This game is really worth $30 if you are into the featured Franchises. It won't utterly rock your world, but it seems like the sort of game that might be hard to find down the road due to poor sales.

Would you be able to watch the intro and tell me what the deal is then? :)

Is this the US or PAL versions?

I HATE people that do this with any game. Appreciate what you paid for damnit! Think of the work someone put into that, only for you to always skip past it. RARGH!!!

I am sorry... I have AAAitis.

I didn't even get a chance to try out all ten games yet! :lol

The problem is that I have my PS2 hooked up in my bedroom, and my TV there is kind of close to my bed, and the games in Sega Superstars want you to be pretty far away from the TV, so I end up squatting on my bed trying to play these things... It is awkward... I could move my PS2 to another TV, of course, but it's easier to play Half-Life 2.

I went back to play this... The US game has the first group shot, not the second. There is writing showing the characters' names as well.

Monkey Ball is kind of awesome on this. I thought it would control horribly, but it doesn't.

The best game of all, however, is Puyo Pop, which is nothing like the other versions... Basically you just stand in the middle of 4 buckets as multicolored beans start to shower down on you. You have to use your arms and head to guide them as into the appropriate bins. It's the most fun I've had w/ an eyetoy game yet....

Also, Space Channel 5 is 100x more gay when you are actually trying to mimic Ulala's moves.

Since I am now unbanned, (hurrah) I can clear this up:

The Japanese version was from 50% complete code (or thereabouts) so they probably just made the changes as you see them in the other version of the video, which is apparently from final European code. I am pretty sure they'll have changed the final Japanese version in this way as well. Cool looking site btw :)
