Even on 1080p 30 arkham knight, the amazing details, speed of vehicle, rain, amazing motion blur... all make the game feel more dynamic, faster and generally better.
The DF video part when they compare driving a GK bike vs AK batmobile... wow what a stark difference.
I used to dfive the dlc Tumbler around in AK for fun. It's so cool.
The pc version of AK works really good btw

I'm actually playing through it right now. It's not that bad, and not any more jank than the old survival horror games or most Indies. I was expecting far, far worse, going by the divided this was.

Then again, I am just at Niwa after the first monster moth man encounter. They have the atmosphere and sound/music down. Story has me interested so far, but I heard that was the main issue with the game, is that the story falls apart. I soon shall see.

Good thing SH2 has an already established story. And outside of 1-3 and maybe 4, all their other games had stories that fell apart or were too "on the nose."

But a 95, even in the first couple of hours, nah. Solid 7 for me so far.

reviewers not liking the combat is the most worrisome part. The gameplay vids always looked choppy and stilted.....with no smoothness in the gameplay. Where are the gadgets?

Damn the graphics must be jaw dropping, pushing the new consoles to their absolute limit.

I really don't understand all those low scores. I mean, it looks AMAZING and the combat is similar to Arkham games. It does have a heavy CPU bottleneck on PC (the RTX 3080 Ti won't run above 60-70% even with a Core-i9 12900K) so it can't maintain 60 FPS all the time at 4K with max settings (ray tracing included). If it weren't for that, I'd easily go for 8, or even 9. Here's the first hour captured on PC with said components, and some pics. I was truly impressed by the overall visuals.
