Isn't that the same fucking fake account from last night?

It is a scourge on the GTPlanet news thread too.

There should be a new video up pretty soon. No idea what it is though.

Really? But their stuff got removed didn't it? Why would they put another video up?
The posts on GTplanet were removed. Not the actual videos, they're still up.

I am loving the menu music on the track selection video that rybakdany uploaded. Funky, jazzy, classy and oh so very GT.

What makes GT so much better than other racers? Legit question. I've never bothered with the games, so could someone fill me in?

For me it is the car selection. So many to choose from. The relatively accurate physics are just about in the sweetspot for me too, accessible, but not arcadey.

The polish, challenge, attention to detail, the feel (ever played a racing game with smooth jazz and funk for menu music?), the OMG amazing graphics, the pokemon like car collecting obsession, the license challenges, the music, the original racing circuits and a good variety of world famous circuits...

If you consider cars to be more than just a daily appliance that move you from point A to B you should be able to find something to love.

I didn't mention photo mode which allows you to take shots like this!

GT is more of a movement than a racing game series. The creator, Kaz Yamauchi said so.

Not to mention the visuals, eye candy all the way down.

The sense of class and quality that permiates from every aspect of the game. And porno jazz.

It's legal to host off-tv footage recordings of movies and TV on youtube, must mean the same for games. Direct feed is another question.

Anyway, this guy is being pretty friendly about the whole thing, hosting short videos and keeping stuff simple.

A. Cars porn. From Suzuki Swift to Ferrari F10, the variety, the attention to detail, and the Pokemon 'gotta collect em all' feel to the game.

B. The tracks. There are no bad tracks in GT. The ones created by Polyphony are spectacular, and the real world tracks are recreated to perfection.

C. The menus, the music, the fucking PASSION that GT game possess. It's unmatched in the videogame world, much less by another racer.

And then theres this...

It's the only game that has a soul.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed but it seems that our A or B spec level will determine what cars we are able to purchase? That sounds cool to me.

That sounds great.

It would be great to grind some Clubman Cup, unlock something you're keen on, have a quick glance at your credits and go "Oh, I have enough money for that!".

Imagine the feeling. :D

None, yet.

Also no Holden in that pic :<
There definately will be Holden and FPV as they were from GT4. I don't believe there will be any new cars though.

@Mush, I also love the grind of GT. Just LOVE it!

It would also be nice if you could hover over a particular make's icon and it would tell you how many cars you can afford compared to how much money you have at the current time.

It's an interesting question and I would say that Gran Turismo was originally more of a car collecting game than a racing game.

GT5 however seems much more geared towards racing instead of the car collecting aspect.

And of course many are mostly interested in the graphics. Even though most of the gifs spread around are from CG movies and not the actual game.

So we've come to the conclusion that the track list shown in the vid is not the full list?
Obviously. Some confirmed tracks are missing, such as the Nordschleife and Top Gear, and others.

Look at GT4's tracks when you started the game:

Day 1 - Autumn Ring Mini
Day 1 - Beginner Course
Day 1 - Cathedral Rocks Trail II
Day 1 - Citta di Aria
Day 1 - Clubman Stage Route 5
Day 1 - El Capitan
Day 1 - Fuji Speedway 90s Day 1 - Grand Canyon
Day 1 - Grand Valley Speedway East
Day 1 - High Speed Ring
Day 1 - Infineon Raceway Sport Car Course
Day 1 - Laguna Seca Raceway
Day 1 - Midfield Raceway
Day 1 - Motor Sports Land II
Day 1 - New York
Day 1 - Nurburgring Nordschleife
Day 1 - Seattle Circuit
Day 1 - Suzuka Circuit East Course
Day 1 - Swiss Alps
Day 1 - Test Course
Day 1 - Tokyo R246
Day 1 - Trial Mountain Circuit
Day 1 - Twin Ring Motegi Road Course West Short
Day 1 - Twin Ring Motegi Super Speedway
Day 1 - Tsukuba Circuit
Day 1 - Seoul Central

Now look at the ones you unlocked:

Day 15 - Deep Forest Raceway
Day 29 - Opera Paris
Day 43 - Fuji Speedway 80s
Day 57 - Special Stage Route 5
Day 71 - Suzuka Circuit
Day 85 - Twin Ring Motegi Road Course East Short
Day 99 - Grand Valley Speedway
Day 113 - Hong Kong
Day 127 - Suzuka Circuit West Course
Day 141 - Fuji Speedway 2005 GT
Day 155 - Ice Arena
Day 169 - Apricot Hill Raceway
Day 183 - Cote d Azur
Day 197 - Tahiti Maze
Day 211 - Twin Ring Motegi Road Course
Day 225 - George V Paris
Day 239 - Cathedral Rocks Trail I
Day 253 - Costa di Amalfi
Day 267 - Circuit de la Sarthe 1
Day 281 - Autumn Ring
Day 295 - Infineon Raceway Stock Car Course
Day 309 - Chamonix
Day 323 - Fuji Speedway 2005 F
Day 337 - Tsukuba Circuit Wet
Day 351 - Circuit de la Sarthe 2 (Unchicaned)

Track list could easily double.

It's a replay of Cape Ring Periphery with 12 cars on track. And it must be said that CRP is one of the best looking tracks ever in a GT game. Especially the section where you're going up a spiral section and you can see the road below the section that you're on.
