It's a replay of Cape Ring Periphery with 12 cars on track. And it must be said that CRP is one of the best looking tracks ever in a GT game. Especially the section where you're going up a spiral section and you can see the road below the section that you're on.

I am going by the assumption that I will appreciate it so much more on my plasma and my surround that it isn't going to matter anyway. There is that little detail of playing it as well.


edit: I am really liking the menu and racing music that I am hearing so far. The engine sounds aren't bad either.

Thanks. It's hard to say for sure but it looks like they fixed the glitchy shadows or at least improved them. Nice.

Wow, what an absolutely awesome looking track.

I love tracks like that which just have this smooth flowing feel to them, as opposed to city courses for example.

As for the oil changing, it's nearly exactly the same as GT4. I'm really disappointed. They call this a simulator? We should have to loosen the bolts on the pan, purchase new quarts of oil, and check the dip stick multiple times to ensure we don't over fill it.

Sorry, but I'm bailing out now...pre-order canceled. Fuck this game.
