I have an idea GAF. I will personally visit the Czech Republic, buy us copies of the game, and ship them world wide to everyone in this thread that wants one via Paypal. Everyone will have them in 7-10 days.
If only I didn't go to Medical School. Someone should do this. This is not a joke post.

I think it would be hilarious if out of the blue GT5 commercials start airing with Kevin Butler in them, and at the end the release date is revealed.

Folks are frustrated, and the developer definitely knows its nothing personal. But due to the lack of communication on sonys part, the blog becomes the only place to have it be seen and picked up by other media outlets who are going to write more articles about how rage gt5 fangirls are.. its all because of 0 communication. lots of vacation time reserved for the game, and a kick in the fucking pants.
Most of us buy all games. Esp the ones featured on the blog. and those that care about the updates on the blog are getting them, but none of this would happen if they would have simply said peep. Its immature, but its from sheer frustration.You cant expect the community to be mature & professional when the blog hasn't done the same. A simple explanation could have been posted:
"hey guys, well you know PD works in mysterious ways, we are just as much in the dark as you are! Sorry, but please allow developers comment sections to be dedicated to other fans of their respective games!"
But they are just ignoring it.

They are only pissing off their fans. It's not like any of the big sites will run a spread on this ... and if they do it will paint them in a bad light. But then again, Sony doesn't give a fuck about the fans because we're buying the game anyway.

I'm not sure the lack of a release date is somehow due to Sony's negligence or incompetence.
Sure, some last-minute glitch halted printing of the discs. But I imagine rescheduling the printing of BD's at this time of year, reorganizing shipping/distribution and renegotiating ad buys etc. is taking a long time.
It just seems to stretch the imagination that Sony are just sitting on their hands right now, unsure of what to do. Once the pieces fall back into place and they can secure a release date, they will.
All that said, I totally understand what it's like to really really want a game, so I totally get the kinda' awesome madness that is this thread.
