There has to be connections with GTA5 and RDR if this does indeed happen in the west coast. I expect cameos of Marston's grandchildren or some other characters and maybe will see towns from RDR in GTA5. I just want continuation/references which it seems shouldn't be a problem. Last gen's GTA trilogy along with the sidestories did a great job stringing everything along and I like those little details in the games. Am I right?

Yeah, but RDR has nothing to do with the GTA world. We don't see cross reference from any of rockstars other games in gta3+. They will just incorporate things they learned from their other games. Which is why the traveling to Las Venturas seems extremely likely with their past experience, and success, on making a desert location.

Please just not another single city that is a pain in the ass to drive in. Having most of the San Andreas locals back would make me buy day 1. I'd gladly take a hit to whatever graphics if it means having rural & desert areas to screw around in.

I really enjoyed the direction IV took. I think R* took a lot of the criticism IV received on board judging by the way The Lost and the Damned, and the Ballad of Gay Tony turned out. I'm hoping V keeps that direction going.

They should tweak them to be more responsive and not as hard to control, but physics should remain untouched. I hate car physics in other open world games. They feel so stiff, so "cheap", dunno how to describe it, but they take me away from experience.

Oh god, this is awesome. GTAIV was my first GTA experience and I absolutely loved it. Red Dead Redemption was also spectacular. R* is so damn talented, can't wait to see how great GTAV is

If the game is set in San Andreas, please god please don't let the main character be a whiny little bitch. I could barely finish San Andreas, because I *puts flame suit on* couldn't stand CJ. I am in the minority here, but for me, I thought Vice City was more fun then San Andreas. Better protagonist too.

I want to see something along the lines of you being an undercover cop, but as the game progresses you can choose to become a bad cop, or a good cop.

I just want something different for once as opposed to the same generic story formula from GTA past. I mean even Red Dead allowed you to either be good, or be an outlaw, so why not do something similar for GTA?

I will still buy it day 1 regardless but the thought of the main character being a whiny cry baby, who receives constant phone calls every 5 minutes, in a game focused on too much realism makes me want to cry.

I just hope they keep the car handling though

I would fucking LOVE IT if the next GTA were based in the winter time. I remember wanting to explore the snow-covered Liberty City in that one San Andreas mission. Even if it winds up being in a DLC episode a few months before/after GTA V, I'd love to see it (hell, it'd make the episode more unique, in my opinion).
