It's not gonna look like that lol, not even close.
It's HB2 level of quality, nothing impossible on UE5 with the right hardware.

Amazing next gen first look
And however long it takes for ND to actually release it. “In development” tells me that this won’t be coming out for a while.4 years and they give us a small teaser.
It’s in engine and running on a 5090, they’ll probably get close to thisDude its a cinematic trailer lol...you do know the difference between gameplay and this? These sort of trailers give hype to story, not represent anything what the game will look like even though Im sure itll look great but seriously? You are going to put this in graphic fidelity topic? lol
Bad reveal for this game. i expected more gameplay or more than just one character. 4 years and they give us a small teaser. meh. At least ghosts 2 showed us more.
last shot looks meh as fuck.
We are in for a GOTG.Our narrative goals are rivaled only by our gameplay ambitions. This will be the deepest gameplay in Naughty Dog's history,
its prerendered. so even if they rendered it on a 5090 thats 6x more powerful than the ps5, it likely took them days to render it on that card. It’s in engine and running on a 5090, they’ll probably get close to this
Yes this game cenmatic as last of us or any other game realtime cenmatic scene and this run in UE5 in unannounced rtx gpu as they stated in the beginning of the trailer if you don't see that, also ND new game trailer is inengine cinematicDude its a cinematic trailer lol...you do know the difference between gameplay and this? I thought they said it was real time in engine? Maybe I’m wrongits prerendered. so even if they rendered it on a 5090 thats 6x more powerful than the ps5, it likely took them days to render it on that card.
again, ignore every trailer that says pre-rendered. including the mafia trailer.

Watch the trailer. It says prerendered in ue5 on an unannounced rtx gpu.I thought they said it was real time in engine? Maybe I’m wrong
Its not real-time
So this trailer are just some bullshitThey did
Yeah I missed the text there just read the latter half - don’t get the point in saying any of that if it’s not real time. You could prerender that on most gpus I assume. Lame. Sick of these kinds of trailers - gameplay should be required at this pointWatch the trailer. It says prerendered in ue5 on an unannounced rtx gpu.
I preferred they would going with fantasy settings other than scfi, also main character design is shit compared to their previous games hopefully graphically they will deliver,I still didn't saw the trailer in 4k to judge it's first lookBad reveal for this game. i expected more gameplay or more than just one character. 4 years and they give us a small teaser. meh. last shot looks meh as fuck.
Intergalactic looks phenomenal in 4K
Yeah much of it looked doable, Ciri's hair looked too gamey even, maybe some of those smoke effects & certain physics looked pre-rendered...Just watched the Witcher 4 trailer. That looks doable? I get that its pre-rendered but i think that could just be a lot of those smoke and fog effects and the cloth physics. Her face, the side characters all look very gamey and nothing truly cg.
Regardless, pre-rendered nonsense after 4 years of dev time is infuriating. You have 500 devs working on one game for 4 years and they couldnt cobble together some gameplay?
This goes for both ND and CD Project. The guy at the end was lecturing the industry about cost cutting and layoffs, and im like did you watch the two trailers from the biggest studios? 4 long years and no gameplay. its a game award show not a movie award show. The publishers and money men have every reason to layoff the useless devs who sit there for 4 years making cutscenes on unreleased GPUs.

DS2 looked more impressive visually in its cinematics than new ND game, plus some awful design in that ND reveal trailer. h.
ND reveal trailers are always touched up and do not represent what you'll get in final game, but even so, it didn't show anything more impressive than what we've already seen. 1943 Marvel is still the game to beat imo, that game looks like CGI.
Idk about that. This looks really good. Look at the detail in the eyes.

No chance, they better stay far away from that 60fps nonsense. Just make the best looking game possibleAlso, whats the possibility of this being a 60-fps-only Naughty Dog game? I feel they might go for it. The trailer is in 60fps, but Uncharted 4's reveal trailer was at 60fps too, so...
the trailer looked very doable to me. nothing mind blowing like we were all expecting. definitely a 60 fps target. Also, whats the possibility of this being a 60-fps-only Naughty Dog game? I feel they might go for it. The trailer is in 60fps, but Uncharted 4's reveal trailer was at 60fps too, so...

the final shot is very mid and definitely captured in 60 fps.
seems like the days of ND targeting 30 fps are long gone. Tlou part 1 was simply a sign of things to come.
watch the final scene. its definitely 60 fps. not just 60 fps youtube encode to give it a higher bitrate, it's literally running the animations at 60 fps.No chance, they better stay far away from that 60fps nonsense. Just make the best looking game possible

well then they better have a 30fps modewatch the final scene. its definitely 60 fps. not just 60 fps youtube encode to give it a higher bitrate, it's literally running the animations at 60 fps.
Not a Souls-Like (thankfully)I'm 100% with you. But being a souls-like, they might want to keep those people happy. Not sure.

https://press.cdprojektred.com/en/news/1702/the-witcher-iv-revealed-at-the-game-awardsThe trailer is pre-rendered in a custom build of Unreal Engine 5 on an unannounced NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU. Powered by the same tech that The Witcher IV is built on, using assets and models from the game itself, it aims to provide players with a cinematic look at the kind of experience the game is aspiring to provide. The trailer was created through a close collaboration between CD PROJEKT RED and Platige Image, who are no strangers to The Witcher universe, having been responsible for intro cinematics in the previous installments of the series.
After seeing Hellblade 2, The Matrix Awakens Demo, Marvel 1943 and Wukong, I have certain standards…
Seems only UE5 games have felt “next gen” to me…
Hopefully Naughty Dogs new IP has RTGI etc.
Dude. It's over. It's a Soulslop title. Druckmann wasn't kidding with his Bloodborne and Elden Ring glaze. Not a Souls-Like (thankfully)
Full blown action adventure
It never stopped winning, whiny people with weak consoles and pc never changed that. That Witcher 4 trailer was running on “an unannounced RTX GPU” and we all know what that GPU is, it’s obvious, RTX 5090.
But it looked too good to be true man, UE5 wins… again?
Yeah, this is not that impressive for being a fully nextgen ND project, both mafia and botox ciri looks better from the snippets i saw (i still need to sit down in front of the tv to properly watch every trailer).Bad reveal for this game. i expected more gameplay or more than just one character. 4 years and they give us a small teaser. meh. At least ghosts 2 showed us more.

More impressed by how fucking annoying her smug is...
Idk about that. This looks really good. Look at the detail in the eyes.
Yep, ue5 once again show who is bosshttps://press.cdprojektred.com/en/news/1702/the-witcher-iv-revealed-at-the-game-awards
This is why UE5 is the best engine ever made. Nothing comes close. At high resolutions (native 4k?) you can really see the micro details and lighting really come to life. This whole 1080p temporal smear is really holding everything every current game back
