Although not as good as their second album Meteroa, Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory was still pretty good. It also happens to be
the best selling album of the 21st century. Say what you want about the band, but they had to have done something right in order to achieve something as crazy as that.
Eminem's debut album is pretty underrated. Infinite was such a colossal sales dud that many even forget it exists and mistakenly think the Slim Shady LP was his first album. While SSLP was Eminem's first commercially successful album and the first to be released under a major label, Infinite was technically his debut. Even if not a particularly successful one.
Are we allowed to post foreign or non-English speaking artists? I'm sure not many here are going to know this one, but I also wanted to throw in Russian/Georgian singer Valery Meladze's debut album Sera.
As a Russian speaking individual, I am a big fan of Valery Meladze and he's probably my favorite singer at the moment, if I'm being honest. His debut album was especially pretty great and was pretty popular in Russia when it came out. Maybe someone from RussiaGAF knows about him?
