To set this up, I live on a one lane street with townhouses facing each other on both sides. Maybe about 60 feet separating one side and the other.

So I'm walking my dog and I hear some noise, and a girl (~17) is running out with her clothes obviously being put on in a hurry and some 20-something guy behind her yelling. I was confused who he was yelling at until I looked up and I see a middle aged man yelling out the second floor window above me at the guy across the street. The girl shuffling to get dressed has entered the house that belongs to the middle aged man and he's angrier than ever. I back away to the free space area and watch the chaos continue. Then I hear something like a crack and the 20-something yells, "YOU SHOT ME YOU ASSHOLE!"

At first I was like, "OH SHIT", but I knew the noise was not loud enough to be a firearm and I saw it was some sort of BB gun. He fires a couple more times and the 20-something is like, "OW FUCK YOU!" and runs off.

So I was laughing thinking the fun had ended.

Then the 20 something comes back with his own BB gun and starts firing at the middle aged dude at the second floor. Middle age dude yells, "WHAT FUCK OW SHIT I'M GOING TO KICK YOUR ASS!"

Next thing I know, they're both shooting at each other. The security shows up and they both run inside.

I somehow feel like I'm living in Olimario's World or something for the moment.

They're there to keep us safer. The only thing I've seen them do is yell at me to get lost when I use the empty tennis courts for batting practice.

Not really. It's just to make the white people feel safer. I guess. It's not a bad neighborhood or anything. It's about as suburban as you can get here.

yes BB guns hurt like a bitch and pretty dangerous ... however no more than 20-30 minutes ago the cops gunned down several people across the street from my home ... and by home I mean my apartment in North Miami, Florida =O
