I'm not holding my breath. Even with a beta Halo 3 wasn't exactly perfect.

The whole goal when putting together 343 was getting people who have a lot of industry experience and love Halo.

It's not entirely composed of ex-Bungie staff, but "no credit" is an inaccurate descriptor for sure.

Halo CE had network problems in co-op because the orginal game was never meant to do it over the internet, I'm not worried for Halo 4..

From what I understand is that 343 was put together by Microsoft to be killer at making Halo games until the IP is milked dry, so I would expect something that is at least functional.

Not really. All the pre-order bonuses are skins and emblems. You actually get the most from pre-ordering at Amazon.

I still haven't pre-ordered anywhere, but the Microsoft Store is offering a $25 credit towards another order (good through 12/31/12). I might go with that one and use it towards another game during their Black Friday sales or something (they were pretty good last year).

I'm talking online... the scale of Halo. Even Bungie had problems which is why a lot of them had betas.

Indeed. I just caught a few minutes on the Halo 4 demo from the Eurogamer expo developer sessions ... man, the audience was mesmerized during the single player exposure.
