I was better at halo 4 than any other halo game but still love 3 the most. The population died so quick for 4 and I don't really like playing with randoms : /

From what I've seen so far, H2A looks amazing. Quite a few design choices irk me, like the use of Halo 4's medals, loadouts, and the announcer's inflections from Halo 4 (god, he's just too damn excited to say "SLAYER!"); but I'm pretty sure I can forgive them so long as 343i's stepping in the right direction. After all, in Halo 4, the problem for me was the gameplay, not the graphics.

I hate to be that guy, but is anyone from GAF at Gamescom? The gameplay looks fun, but I want to know if it is fun.

I am hoping they're place holders. Has it been confirmed they are not?

Better than spawning with invulnerability that could also bring players down to a 1h kill

I know, the Armor Abilities in Halo 4 were acceptable when compared to the alternative being Reach's Armor Lock. That thing was just OP, I never used it even once. It was even worst if the whole other team was using it. God that got annoying fast.

I hope I can get back into Halo. Watching the multiplayer video of Sanctuary kind of brought back memories as to why I moved on to Call of Duty / Battlefield type games. Is seems like you have to literally unload full clips into the enemy before they die, and alot of the battles involve both players strafing back and forth . As the Halo games went on I found myself liking the campaign much more than the multiplayer, which is unique for me.

Always found most players using sprint in Reach. Compare that to Halo 4 where players had sprint plus being able to jetpack, see through walls, going invisible on demand, regen field, etc.

Neither were acceptable, same for equipment. And truthfully I don't see these types of ideas going away for Halo 5 and beyond.

My favorite things about Halo 4 multiplayer:

-everyone can sprint
-unlimited sprint perk
-jetpack feels just right
-coolest looking armor options

I used Sprint in Reach and Regen Field in 4. I would rather they not have them at the start and instead be pickups like Overshield or Cloak (or the Regen Field in 3).

Agreed. I would love sprint to go.

I agree 100%. And we know we're getting "Spartan Abilities" in Halo 5. We don't really know what they are yet, but we do know that they are inherent abilities that all players will have at spawn. Hopefully they're not terrible.

i *think* i'd be happy with the dash, slide, and air slam "spartan abilities" if we also dont have sprint (or AAs). it will be nice to have more movement options without breaking map verticality and size. those movement options PLUS sprint though? we'll see

so has there been any indications on if we are going to get other halo title gameplays too during gamescom?
i can understand H2A has the most marketing potential as its the best looking, but a Halo fan is also interested in the other three titles

Ugh, i'm hoping they take away all armor abilities and loadouts and focus on small arena maps and medium asymmetrical objective maps. Halo 3 was the last decent Halo.

I checked the OP, but couldn't find anything.

Will the game implement anti-aliasing across all the Halos? (At least H1, 2 and 3).

Unknown, but highly unlikely.

1080p @60FPS is very resource heavy.

If i were to guess... halo 1 and halo 2 *may* have some form in multiplayer segments only, if any. Simply because they aren't draining the memory bandwidth anywhere near as close as anything else in the master chief collection.

Ah I see.

Good gameplay, but the more I watch this the more I realize that I really, really dislike where the kill notifications have been placed. In that location, it leads your eyes upward, away from the motion tracker and it's distracting if you want to know what's going on.

Another little gripe is the 'pop-up' text when you run over a weapon, again it's distracting. All it does is add additional and unneccesary movement that can lead your eyes away from something more important. IMO, it should just be a static notification.

The thing with the clan tags is, that almost every FPS shooter has them these days. Even GTA 5 has them. I wouldn't take that as confirmation for the clan system comming back. Just wait and see.

If you are looking forward to it and are hyping yourself up, you will be even more disappointed, if it's not what you think it is.

Sorry to be dreamcrusher, but after Halo 4, I will be sceptical about anything, that comes from 343i, until I see it or play it, with my own eyes and hands.
