Whoever doesn't have a PC mic should go on Xbox Skype while those who have good mics use PC Skype. Best, easiest solution, unless you don't want to use Skype for whatever reason.

Xbox One mics sound better than a lot of PC mics.

Last year I got curious about the Bungie team and looked up the same stuff. The name of the company is the same but this is not at all the same team that made Halo 1 and 2 (even between those two there was a lot of change).

Thanks dudes. I'm just not exposed to much of her besides the few times in campaign.

Didn't know there was enough dialogue for her to be considered badly written. I never played spec ops, so there ya go I guess.

Eh, game works mostly fine for me. Biggest issue I have at the moment is everyone I play against and with is absolutely terrible. Which is more of an issue due to grinding through the low ranks.

I do get the Pitfall Sword Room sound glitch all the time though which is mildly annoying.

A lot of the hate is because she's a female. If she was a dude it wouldn't have such an outcry. That's the sad state of the gaming community when it comes to non-male characters who aren't sex objects.

She's actually a decent character with some shadowed depth.

Show me the receipts. She was a terribly written character, and it had nothing to do with her gender. I have never heard someone complain about Palmer because she was a female.

I thought I had leveled out the audio for the most part save for Tyler's, who's kinda difficult to modify due to how small the dynamic range is in his recordings. That being said, I typically have everyone possible record themselves as well and only use my personal Mumble recordings if there's no other option available and then send over the individualized stems. Levels may be due to a different mastering setup I used for this one, so I'll have to play around with it.

Popping for the most part is edited out manually (only Steven and I have pop filters iirc,) but I'm usually pretty good about noise removal and editing out the "blank" parts of the individual tracks. Ian was sitting in what sounds like a fucking rocking chair for RR7, though. I blame him.

I definitely use a pop filter, my audio should never pop like Ian's was lol

To be fair, I don't think anyone would actually come out and say it either. But like I said, I never played spec ops to really know how she is written. You don't see her much in the campaign.

If the Elite Controller is actually more durable than I'm all for it. The standard XB1 controller's sticks wear down kinda fast, especially with games that have sprint on left stick click. Durability + the paddles = sold.

I wonder if they'll go on sale Black Friday. Anyways, following a price drop I'll probably get one just so I can map controls for Halo 5 in a way that actually makes sense. Maybe Sprint and Thrusters on the paddles or something.

Like everyone else I bulked at the price at first but when saw a bunch of impressions videos and the vidoc I got on board. I don't need this controller...I want this controller. I hope Stinkles is able to talk to the controller app guys to see if screenshot/dvr button mapping is possible. I'm shocked that they didn't take this opportunity to add a share button of any kind.

The top of the sticks or the body of the sticks? The body of the sticks will be stainless steel so that should help with durability.

I'll get an Elite. The quality of the regular controllers is hit or miss, I've already gone through 1, and my 2nd is creaky and sticky.

I keep VERY good care of my stuff too, almost OCD.

Seems worth the price when you compare alternatives and the money I'll save over the next 6-7 years.

Having to buy controllers every 6-7 months because they either get creaky/loose or the buttons start to stick.
