I've been picking up the small (2 1/8 oz. or 60.2 g) Doritos bags from the local 7-11 ($1.09 and they're not taxed by MD). They're small, cheap, and each one gets you 3 matches and an entry for one of the prizes. I'm trying to win one of those FUD canvases.

The Forerunner books are also directly relevant, but I can't say I'd recommend them. I'd look up summaries instead.

Okay, I may pick those two up.

I would recommend Cryptum and Primorium. Lots of background information on the Forerunners and the Didact. Some people believe the books to be boring, but personally I loved them. I have yet to finish Thursday War though.

I have a copy of Cryptum and have heard that both books aren't that hot. I'll give Cryptum a try. If I like it, I'll pick up Primorium later.

Nah, they had white backgrounds (and black interiors); I just deleted the extra colors. At full size, they're pretty jaggy - but I figured anything you wanted to use them for, you'd be shrinking them anyway.

I started Ghosts of Onyx a couple of days ago and It's fantastic. Much more expansion of the fiction than First Strike, and not retconned like Fall of Reach.

Cheerwine isn't around all of the U.S either. It's a southern thing, and I think it's actually confined relatively to the east coast too.
