I know this was a couple pages back but I wanted to post this anyway haha.
I joined GAF like a year ago I think, but I've been reading since 07/08. I was a member on Gameinformer's forums and two of the members there posted here during the Halo 3 days. Apocalidiot and Prvt Pegleg(I think his name here was HugBasket iirc). They used to talk about this thread a lot so I started reading it from then on. I'm sure if any of you remember them you'll have some stories haha. I was too involved in the GI forums to join but I read this every day from that time until I joined. I remember all the old AR vs. BR debates that came up every other day haha. I do wish I joined earlier when I was still in high-school and had time to post more and play online because life now often prevents that from happening.

If I were seriously considering it, I'd probably roll with President Johnson because he reminds me of the Didact for whatever reason.
He was a dick, but the dude was a political mastermind.

I would like to see 343 further explore Buck and the Rookie as characters.
One thing I wish I could retcon is Noble 6's death. They should have had a western style ride into the sunset on a hog ending so that the character could reaper later in the series.
Is there any word on whether or not Nathan Fillion did any voice acting for H4?

Play Reach, it's closer to the style of gameplay in Halo 4 with the armor abilities and sprint sprint sprint sprint.

So that minute and half of where both teams had each other's flags and couldn't score till one was returned, that was insane.
Too bad that won't be able to happen in halo 4 because you can't drop the flag...
On a positive or less negative note, wouldn't it be kinda cool if the flag carrier could wield a dmr or br in halo 4 instead of a pistol? I mean you already can't throw grenades, use sprint or equipment or drop the flag. Seems you might as well be able to defend yourself with a good gun you know?

How about they act like the game Reach never happend and all the Spartans made it out alive. Give them their own mission and integrate it into Spartan Ops.

That is an amazing avatar lol.
Im going to play Halo 3 a lot before the release of the game. The BR, no bloom, movement etc all feel closer to Halo 4 than Reach does.

If the S4's are just hand picked best of the best I see little reason for an ODST leader who virtually held back the entire invading covenant at mombasa to not be chosen.

Update for anyone not watching: The series is going to a final game, game 11!!
That was my biggest gripe about Reach, those characters had so much potential, but were wasted. We spent too little time with them to even care about 'em.

Finally got that silly "Totally Worth It" achievement on Reach. Double kill from the grave. I was playing Slayer DMRs on Pulse, some forge map, and I got caught by two guys in a corner. All I had was a shotgun and they were out of range, so I knew i was going to die. Tossed a nade, thought I might take one with me, it stuck one guy and he went running after the other one so they both blew up after I died.
It was totally worth it.

Holy shit Instinct came back to win the AGL finals. Ogre_2 = GOAT (and I heard his brother has been playing in Australia?)

That last AGL match was intense, I was certain Elite 4 would take when they made the push towards the end. Crazy.
