I swear to god if they couldn't get it working because of the fucking QTEs I'm going to be so pissed. They need to get their damn priorities in order. Make them cutscenes, we'd prefer them that way!

Good news from random leaks: There is an invisible skill based ranking system included with the exp progression, The skill based ranking system just makes sure you are matched with people that are based around the same skill level as you. Only you can see your rank

And to qualify for BPR you need to have 10 games in each launch playlist at a minimum.

Having a skill based rank doesn't really mean you get matched up competitively. They still need to set the matchmaking restrictions to ensure the games are strict enough (or just exclude guests from certain playlists). Reach uses TrueSkill - it just never shows it to you and it matches people very loosely.

Getting switched to Gaming side is going to be an absolute clusterfuck. People suddenly liking the franchise (because 4 has good graphics but they'll act like other shit compels them), spoilers ahoy (hopefully Bish and gaming more can handle it), post counts burning through the roof... I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we somehow managed half an entire OT in the course of a week.

First mission gameplay spoilers (nothing plot related, you guys have probably actually seen this already)

Saw a couple snippets of the first level while looking for old footage a couple days ago, there were at least 2 within a few minutes of each other. White text in the middle and all. Frank said something to the effect of "this is just to introduce new players" awhile ago so I wouldn't be concerned yet.

I prefer the new design too, but I would rather start with that one and then get the new one part way into the campaign.
