I plan to forge some in Halo 4. Never got into it in the past games besides finishing one map in Reach that never go tested. I'll see what I can do in 4.

I've played it, and there is no such mechanic. It would also make no sense, as far as I can tell.

i was hoping they'd have some alternate trigger for AAs and such (like red faction guerrilla) so things like jetpack don't continue to be gimped for BJ
but i guess if we can't even count on campaign scoring what's a poorly thought aa carrying over from the worst game in the series

I'm trying to decide if I should stick with bumper jumper and keep learning it, or go back to normal. I've gotten solid with bumper jumper, but I still find myself hitting wrong buttons.
Doesn't help that Borderlands 2 has Halo controls and no bumper jumper, so I just confuse my hands.

Jetpack is fun, but not compelling enough to give up on BJ for me. There are plenty of other AAs that are interesting and work well on X.

I'm in the same boat. I still screw up the occasional melee/grenade throw coming from Boxer. I'm going to try and stick with it, though.
You can map your buttons in BL2...

How about some customizable controls?
I get that it's difficult due to button glitches and the like, but surely with some playtesting they can get around that? It works on PC too.
I'm not asking much, just that the buttons can be swapped at will among each other, not the triggers or sticks.

Annnnd I'm dumb. I guess I never checked. The controls clicked with me so solidly that I didn't notice until I played Anniversary with bumper jumper.
Still wondering if I should stay on track though. I occasionally hit A to jump before correcting myself, etc.

So finally breaking into some of my Humble Bundle Games... first on the list. Amnesia. Totally psyched. Hopefully these will keep me busy for a while til H4 is in my hands.
How is Legendary?
My friend gave me some guys email who said he had it and I bought it from him for the regular retail price+shipping. This copy is honestly for my friend though since he wont be able to afford the game, I am just holding onto it until I pick up my LE.
Also Heroic felt very nice but I imagine if you have played Halo forever Legendary really would not be pushing it too far. The improved aiming system really helps with the difficulty to be honest with you lol

Amnesia: The Dark Descent? Enjoy it. Watching Day9 play through the DLC for that at the moment.
Found some of the double XP Doritos today. Still haven't found any Game Fuel.
Gamefuel doesn't taste that good IMO. I have been buying Regular and that delicious Code Red.
I honestly just want a can or bottle with Master Chief on it for my collection. The only time I had game fuel was when I was in Florida a few years back and I saw they had it (I think WoW or something was on the bottle). It was alright. Other than that I haven't seen it since, I don't think it's usually in Canada.

Does the campaign have Camo AA and does it fool the AI? In Reach it only works in co-op, and even then it only reduces the AI's interest in you.
A constant locked 30FPS without any drops or at least none that I noticed at all.
Cortana just says she upgraded your firmware.
Yes it does have camo and it doesn't work all that well unless your are constant crouching. Hardlight, Thrust and Hologram are the way to go in Campaign when you have access to AAs.

Yep... I've heard a ton about it and it is a game I can't pass up as a designer. Just haven't really had the motivation or time to break into these games. lol... Just knocking out some forge stuff and I'll be jumping on it within the hour.

How long did it take you to finish it? And what difficulty did you play on.
Also, gameplay spoiler question:
How was the mammoth on rail section? No need to go in detail, just if it's better/worse than Halo Reach's falcon on rails sections
Very fair, Heroic was a lot of fun without any cheap moments, the only problem I did have was running out of ammo a lot but there were plenty of guns on the ground and it made/helped me try out new weapon combos which is a really good thing in my opinion.
Solace multiplayer map walkthrough up on IGN (http://www.ign.com/wikis/halo-4/Solace) and you can see the Vortex walkthrough early on the IGN XBL app.
I would say around 7/8 hours of non-stop playing and some of the mission were REALLY long.
Also
if you like vehicles you will enjoy that level, there is something new on on that level that will remind you of something you took down a few times in Halo 3

dr. pepper's one of the better sugar waters out there, whatchoo got against it. doesn't hold a candle to cherry coke though.
Have not touched online, whenever I get the OK to do so I will post about co-op performance on Spartan Ops.

Did you try legendary at all? Any estimate how long that would take?
thanksI didn't try Legendary but I assume it would take about an extra hour or 3 with how some of the encounters are. So I would say 9-10 hours solo Legendary would probably be a good estimate.

7-8 hours and the story is amazing! Some people might be a bit lost if you don't know the extended fiction but I am sure the Terminals will clear that up (which HAVE to be watched on Waypoint)
Also speaking of terminals there are info kiosks that give info on characters in the universe.
