Can you disable the last stand function of Dominion? If so you could forge what is essentially Conquest Assault. Hell, even if you can't you can still do some nifty stuff:
Set initial spawns for the attacking team in a separate/well defended room (possibly an armory with some weapons). Spawn the defending team in/around several of the capture points. Add a teleporter that spawns after a timer to the attacker's room and set the timer to just over the amount of time it requires for the defending team to capture all of the bases.
Once the defending team captures all of the bases on one end of the map it'll teleport all of the attackers to the other end of the map with decent weapons to balance their lack of lives and stacked defenses. Attackers then work their way up the map to capture the points.
Not sure if it would work. I don't have my hands on the game yet (BUT SOON).

The dashboard says 9 hours for even though I live on the east coast. I thought it would change depending on where you live, I guess not.
I like where you're going with this. Hopefully the customization exists to allow for that.

Was not impressed - hog looked like it was made of foam - then a helicopter flew the didact symbol around - I mean as far as advertising goes showing off a symbol that no one knows like its the bat symbol is pretty stupid. Would have generated more buzz if they spend that fuel money on fireworks tbh
On the plus side I got to meet GUI who is a lot cooler than I expected.
I always thought you were black!
It was nice though. Will have some crappy pictures uploaded soon.

I've been watching Halo 4 videos on Waypoint to make the time go faster. It's not helping. I think I'll just take a nap.
I'm probably gonna play Reach or Halo 3 later if you want to play.

IE9, nevermind IE10 isn't coming to XP crazily enough. Google and Mozilla are happy to bring new Chrome and Firefox to it though.

I agree, New waypoint looks amazing... Also there is a video watchlist icon...does this mean that we get video rendering to waypoint? If so thats awesome!
Edit: Apparently not, the watchlist is for regular waypoint videos

If you go to Halo 4 Intel > Forward Unto Dawn, you get a message that "You can only access this area if you purchased the Halo 4 Limited Edition." Guess thta means you don't need to be on the Xbob app to access the 90-minute version and extras and stuff. Stream quality will be pretty bad, but still.

OS is 11 years old for christ sake, companies should upgrade their shit.
I had that happen with shield recharge sound at PAX. It looped for the whole game.
Work computers. Some companies restrict users from updating anything.
You'd think they would have a vested interest in making sure their browsers weren't out-of-date, likely more insecure pieces of standards-bucking crud.
Then again IT guys tend to be some frightfully egotistical people.

For this reason, I wish discs would install in the background. That way, while both discs install, you can redeem all those codes. Then again, I guess you could just redeem them on the website while the discs install.

I'm loving the Halo 4 campaign so far, only got to mission 5 but it's been excellent. Can't wait to get it wrapped up tomorrow and dive into war games.

Thinks the Evil Empire is just misunderstood.
If you click the settings button you now have the option of selecting a specific quality setting and letting it buffer. This is a work in progress and will be updated over time.
