Oh yeah they are and my love Xand. So yeah. And I will play with them but normally you could jump around and play with different kind of people.

Those ragamuffins still play, me and Xand play regularly as well.
Surprisingly, Bobs' also plays most days.
There are still a few hanging around, but most on my FL seem to have moved on to a variety of games.
I only have like 6 people (out of 90) that play BO2.

I think the population is skewing towards BTB because there are more maps for it. I think infinity slayer works better in BTB due to it's chaotic nature also.

Its been skewed towards BTB from the beginning hasn't it? Since at least before Crimson hit regardless. My guess is because it showcases everything in Halo 4's bag of tricks (infantry/vehicles/loadouts/ordnance), and you don't *require* team coordination to have fun and pull out some wins. But the new maps sure don't hurt.
So people told me that Far Cry 3 game is good, so I ordered it today.
I am sad cos no one is playing Halo 4 anymore. Or at least no one from here.
Far Cry 3 isn't that good, play FC2 instead.

I am a member of this club. Haven't played anything all week, but I'm off all next week. I'll be playing some Halo 4, because I want to play as much Oddball and Team Regicide as I can before the playlists inevitably go away.

As mentioned that trick he mentioned can help but I honestly have never had much of a problem with it on anything. Ironically I had the most issues with it on Vista.
Works perfectly on Windows 8. Using it on it now.
Halo 4 happened. The community was so united and then that game. It's tearing us all apart. You have drunk uncle heckfu beating up on poor aunt ozzy and you have cousin kylej fighting with cousin moonman, then you got grandpa Wu asleep on the couch. Then last I heard grandma Devo got run over by a Reindeer and is MIA. It's like Christmas but on Halogaf.*

I do it too on occasion. Mostly when I don't want to have a headset on or talk.
They did work on the game (supposedly) for a few years. They announced this two weeks ago. Its also December 20th.
They're also pretty terrible and they never really address issues. Last one took away my map pack so I could care leas about bsangel's Xmas decorations right now.
Oh here you go. They are drinking a cocktail with rum and tequila at Frankie's house. I'll guarantee that's what she was gonna write about.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for non-American accents.

How can we can go from the Dreadnought in Halo 2 and 3 to the Metapod in Halo 4 I will never understand. At least the Forerunner ships in Halo Wars and Legends still looked good and Forerunnery.
Ninja's the only pro worth watching these days, the entertainment value is off the charts.

I played some Halo 3 matchmaking a bit last night. I'd be into playing some more with Gaffers - my GT is the same as my Gaf name.
Some thoughts on Halo 3:
-god I've missed these maps
-equipment is rare! how refreshing
-the flamethrower is fucking AWESOME. Please Halo 5, please.
-the incendiary and spiker grenades are far more interesting and useful than pulse grenades.
-Longshore is boring
-gameplay is slower than Halo 4 and feels floaty but that's not a bad thing
-seriously, where is the flamethrower, that thing was unique and fun to use
-low population makes finding matches a chore. wish these playlists would be consolidated a bit and all of them require all DLC.
-bad textures. amazing lighting. so colorful. this game looks 10000x better than Reach.
-water engine is coooool
