Is the camera fucked up or are all your weapons/equipment assests scaled up?
For all the salt here on GAF, we generally have some fairly well thought out and interesting discussions on the game (although sometimes we all jump on one point for 10 pages). Over on Waypoint things are pretty salty all the time. It's rare to see anything brought up and universally praised as a positive.
People who love lighting in campaign probably shit their pants.

Also the "peak population" recorded on Halocharts yesterday (Jan 14) was the lowest ever. Just 88K at the peak. RIP in pieces.
The whole camera is fucked up. It is like the game is zoomed in permanently. Running feels weird, because it bobs around and looks like you're going no where.
Noticing weird things like pop out. Instead of textures popping in, when I get closer to objects the textures are deresing.

I think Dominion has been like that since launch. I remember seeing normal loadout weapons in the global ordnance or maybe base/resupply/whatever ordnance.

As far as I remember only the Incinerator and the Binary Rifle are in Dominion, most of the normal weapons are Human.

How come?
It differs from map to map. Resupplies on Exile and Longbow drop human weapons (BR, DMR, Shotgun, Rockets, Sniper, Frags, SAW - no Sticky Detonator that I've ever seen). Vortex and Meltdown have Forerunner palettes instead, dropping Suppressors, Light Rifles, Scattershots, Incineration Cannons, and Binary Rifles. It's been like that since launch, as far as I know.
The weighting toward heavy weapons as resupplies build up is nothing short of a disaster.

This guy on Polycount says he has access to a potentially Bungie-internal Halo 1 Dev Kit that got thrown out and has multiple pre-release builds installed.
He doesn't seem to interested in digging around in the game, but he did notice a couple differences with the final verion.
Namely, Keyes looks different, and a lot of the textures do as well.

With 5 months to develop, I'm not sure if they ever had even had a beta version as we know it so much as build discs when it was near final ready to be RTM. Hence why it appears his version is Halo 1 with some alternate textures.
I never remember hearing about a leak, and the truly interesting version would be the RTS Halo.
I love Halo 3 but it feels way slower than 2. Plus maps in 2 were phenomenal.

I take it this game still isn't going anywhere... it's so weird not having a Halo game to play.
Should play some Reach before my Live runs out... Halo 4 has made me completely hate LIVE and the xbox, halo was the only reason I had either.
