MS should have never forced Bungie to milk Halo. I am sure they still would have been with them if they would just let them make something else and then go back to Halo.

Bungie wouldn't consider signing a publishing deal with MS simply because they wanted to go multiplatform.

I got to platinum in Black Ops 2 after losing 2 games and winning 3 (of the 5 placement matches) and then it took me 4 losses in a row to drop down to Gold.

I think Platinum is pretty high no? Is it the second highest or third highest? I think when I played it was the second highest.

with that logic I guess railgun matches in Q3A are even easier than COD since you can get kills in 1 hit, move faster, and you have more precise controls with a mouse and keyboard

Yea people forget you have the same rules as the opponent and are playing against other live humans. Its only as easy as your opponent is dumb, and theres a bunch of those people in every game ever.

Halo is just going through its mid-life crisis. Its trying to be young and put in custom classes, perks, and armor abilities. Halo will eventually become what it once was. It is just a phase... hopefully.

Yea people forget you have the same rules as the opponent and are playing against other live humans. Its only as easy as your opponent is dumb, and theres a bunch of those people in every game ever.

Certain games require different skill sets, but when facing other humans, one is no easier than the other.

I would argue those with host or close to host connection in fact do have it easier in COD due to latency, LAN of course is different.

That's why I like Halo, I can compete and have that split second to turn the tide on an attacker. I've tried playing COD in a number of their games and I find it the same crap every time. Sprint or walk and move cover to cover to only find I'm staring at a killcam and basically had one shot at the enemy. Not fun and finding Australian hosted games isn't too much fun either.

I don't think he's celebrating because he think it's "awesome", but rather because it sends a message to 343 that many players/users are unhappy with the game in it's current state. Which to be perfectly honest, I agree with. I think 343 needs to look at the population number if they need a reason to change the game.

Yea, but I doubt anyone still plays Campaign or Spec Ops pressing yellow buttons isnt exactly quality gaming.

I openly celebrate the failure of Halo 4 for two reasons:

1. Proves I was always right, reinforces that as a gamer, I understand what I'm talking about

2. Gives hope Halo will be changed in the future and we might finally get a real Halo again.

I really hope H5 is a godsend. 343 PM me if you need suggestions I have a huge essay for the next game.
