To be fair I have played ~200 games of Halo 4 and I do watch it regularly, almost daily. I read of the changes and analyze it critically. You dont always have to play massive amounts of the game for your criticism to be valid. Similar to how we saw dumb shit before the game was released and called it out, and it actually ended up being pretty dumb, and proved our points.

But yea, I'm trying to stay positive I'm getting people going in the community playing Halo again, last night we actually had a decent outcome of peoples and I've had a ton of fun with Halo these past few weeks.

By the way I have to say this for the five hundredth thousandth time, this thread isnt about how we hate Halo 4 its about how we want Halo to be. Because we all love Halo. Adding: All criticism whether displayed positively or negatively should be viewed by devs and fans as constructive criticism. Please avoid emotional attachment if possible.

I have no problem with valid criticism. That offers interesting discussion. It's the shit talking that's annoying.

What's consider **** talk though? Is saying "Halo 4 a bad game" any less valid because you didn't explain what's wrong with it each time you say it? People have explained time and time again why Halo 4 is a bad game, why Halo is dead, etc, we're at the stage where discussing the games fault would just be repeating ourselves for the thousandths time.

I draw the line at insulting 343 and it's employees at a personal level though, or any Halo fan at a personal level, that's not cool.

It has some great bans. And there is more racism in it than this thread. Although the Hamish Beamish and Groundskeeper Willie stuff is super offensive to my people.

You serious? You don't see the problem with posts that are just, "Halo 4 sucks" or "Halo 4 is terrible"? I'm not saying the opinion is invalid, I can totally see why people hate Halo 4 and don't play it but I mean come on, shit's getting old. It doesn't add anything to the thread.

I'm down for BTB night as long as it's not BTB playlist. I just can't do Infinity anymore when there are far superior options out there. I'm down to make custom gametypes for GAF and hunt some good BTB Forge maps if necessary (can't promise good framerate lol)

I don't see a problem with it, it's just people expressing how they feel about the game. Don't take me wrong, the game has gotten better and I'm extremely grateful that 343 has given us Team Throwdown, and Forge Island, and CSR (While not in game... it is fun, and I'm enjoying it, retained my interest in the game. I would really prefer it being in game though). I appreciate the fact that the game is slowly getting better, and 343 is finally tweaking the sandbox, I'm grateful for all of that, but it's taken so long, I can see why people are upset and frustrated.

Like I said, writing a full paragraph on why Halo 4 is bad because x or x, is pretty pointless now. People have said multiple times now why they dislike the game and consider it bad, it's just repeating yourself. Saying "Halo is dead/Halo 4 is bad" is repeating yourself as well, but it takes less effort that fully explaining yourself, and it gets the same message across (in a less mature way)

Something in me just enjoys being in matchmaking BTB and running through people though. :p

We can do some customs or something too though. Let's see how many people we get Thursday.

Well of course people are going to disagree and argue. That's the nature of this forum. And yeah, people are going to shit talk a game if they aren't happy with it. If you aren't used to that by now, then you clearly haven't been on GAF for very long. You just need to let the shit slide off of you, as I'm sure everyone at Bungie and 343 know all too well.

Right now all we can do is wait and hope that 343 has taken note of how poorly their game has done with a significant portion of Halo's fanbase.

I'm not going to pretend I don't post single sentence bullshit sometimes but I'm also not promoting it like you are. NeoGAF is known for being not a shit hole and actually having smart discussion about games and the industry. This thread is a shit hole at times.

Also, pointless? What do you think the purpose of this thread is? To provide suggestions for Halo 4 and how it can be fixed? It's like you're saying, "why discuss things about the game when 343 isn't going to listen anyway" The point is to have a discussion about the game and not act like this thread is only a suggestion box.
