I'm all for weapon skins and get it, did well in other games. If there's time for these kind of things to be made I hope there are other highly requested features that the community asked (and willing to pay for) are in Halo 4.

Pretty sure there's still armor sets of LR shoulder, helmet, and chest that can be mixed and matched and then you can put an armor skin (just a texture or pattern) over it.

I think I may have misinterpreted these:

I took it to mean that the skin was specific to that armor, when it could simply be displaying that skin with that armor. Probably more likely.

Id pay a small fee for these skins but honestly retailer exclusive bullshit needs to stop, previous halo content never made it to the marketplace which doesnt really instil me with too much hope these will.

Worst thing is its unlikely frank or david will be able to comment on the matter either way. for fear of harming preorders.

I care about digital content WAY too much and the fact ill be missing out on at least 4 skins so far is really really annoying.

I suppose we can pray this is all "early access" stuff but again its doubtful.

Kind of killed my hype knowing i wont be able to get 100% of the games content at launch.

I think the Best Buy armor could look good with a different color scheme.
