hope the shield isnt multiplayer. Still not as bad as armor lock though, and who knows maybe it isnt that bad after all.

The UI screams multiplayer or Spec Ops, not campaign, to me anyway.

Yeah, but Covenant tech is like, reverse-engineered Forerunner tech. That shield looks like it's composed of multiple plates hovering together, whereas the Jackal shield looks more like... the light-bridge technology adapted into a shield.
No point in arguing, but that's what I'm seeing.
In terms of gameplay, I wouldn't quite call it Armor Lock... after all, you could strafe behind somebody with a shield and thump them, especially if it slows down their movement (as third-person weapons like the turrets tend to do).
Could be interesting, and I've wondered what Halo would be like with shields ever since the crazy rumors of them being hidden in CE.
Exactly. Take this leak with a grain of salt. They are pretty late in production and those maps don't really scream MS-internal-Beta quality. Hell, the leaker could just some guy with a copy of UDK/Cryengine 3 and a custom BR model.

These leaks where snapped with a digital camera from a build as it was being played the guy didnt want to get his friend who owned the build in trouble.
However its also reasonable that if this was 720p capture footage or images then microsoft would likely be much more "strict" in their enforcements of take downs and NDA lawsuits and such

Environment looks cool, the objectives may just be a 3 Plots/Domination gametype. 343 has said several times that they have put a lot of work into the UI, especially in objective gametypes, so it's possible that it's a gametype that already has been in Halo with a new UI.
Ah, true, I forgot about that.
So yeah, somebody should get this kid a capture card.

It was 3's best BTB map, but that isn't really saying much.
Really am curious on how 343 unfolds these Halo 4 big team maps. Please for the life of god make a good asymmetric one.
