I agree with what you are saying in a general sense, but for me the inconvenience of requiring an internet connection is mitigated by a greatly reduced price. After you take the map pack cost out, the LE is only about 10 dollars more and for that 10 dollars you get a 90 minute movie, a bunch of digital goodies AND the Infinity booklet.

As much as I appreciate the fact its early access rather than exclusive access, thats pretty bullshit. Hopefully the 6 early specializations dont take eons to unlock.

Gameplay looks great, nice movement speed.

BR still sounds pretty limp.

Late to the LE talk, but weapon skins and paid early access to not-perks seems kinda gross. Opinion subject to change once we know as much about the game as we do its limited edition packaging.

graphics look great as always.

also, Frankie should do all the interviews. I'm pretty sure I say this every time an interview is released.

I love the bass-baritone chant at the end. I get chills down my spine from that. If anything, the music needs to move closer towards the reveal and concept art trailer; and further from the music reveal and key-art animation video.

As an aside, this looks to be very old footage as it seems to be the same game where the footage for the Conan clip was used. Take that as you will in terms of the text on screen, medals and such.

So...about the LE. If it's a steelbook case maybe, but other than that I can't say for certain I'll buy it. Nothing much to get me excited about (weapons skins, etc., are pretty useless to me). What's with this trend of including digital content? Why not just include it on a second disc? It's so clumsy the other way. No making of? Nothing like the Bestiarum? I'd much rather have a second disc with content like this included. internet stream to watch it.

Will probably end up buying if it's a steelbook anyway, but the overall package is pretty meh.

i'm kind of wondering if they finally hitting the end of alpha, and are almost at beta. i'm curious to see what has changed since the first BTS video.

Yes, cool new stuff completely out of nowhere, haha! Man they really aren't showing Warhouse, I wonder if they plan to feature that map at e3 more than others or something. Or maybe they don't like it as much as Icarus...I mean Wraparound. Anyways, some very sexy footage, but Im dying to see something new at this point, haha.

Also, not really liking the BR's new sound, its quite..simple and quiet.

(The clouds in the background of wraparound are amazing)

To me, the map packs and story-continuation stuff (book, blueprint, etc.) is totally worth the extra cost of the LE. When they start in with the digital streaming stuff, that's when I start questioning whether the purchase is worth it. I'd rather have a secondary disk with the movie and video extras so I'm not confined to the xbox if I want to watch any of the content. Also don't want to be telling my wife to get off the internet so I can watch my Halo stories in full HD, either. You see my conundrum.

Not totally :p I think Ghaleons breakdown of what he likes and dislikes about the LE announcement covers me too. I dislike the idea of specializations but at least there isn't a gamestop exclusive armour lock specialization or something stupid like that. LE boxart and stuff looks amazing and if the Infinity stuff is not digital and is akin to Halseys journal I will probably pick it up.

That 3 min video was pretty sweet, so im looking forward to seeing more of the game though :p

Yes, it should not sound like it has a suppressor.

But more importantly, why the fuck is there a white text in the middle of the screen when something happens? I don't need to know i headshotted someone, i don't need to know if i on a killing spree (the announcer says it anyway).
Other than these two, looks awesome.
And the limited edition looks interesting, definetly getting it.

EDIT will there be pre-order bonuses or not (regardless of edition)?
