This video brought something to my attention. In addition to the aforementioned request to change the Bumper Jumper layout, I want to request that the death camera be lowered to the player's viewpoint like in Halo 3. It appears to be above the player like it was in Reach (to accommodate Elite character models). Please bring that up with the team if possible, Stinkles.

I think it's on a per store basis but they've done midnight releases before. I know for a fact that Diablo 3 had a midnight launch at participating stores.

You're only right in that it takes a third of a second longer to kill. I agree, that's a significant amount of time.
But I'm going to approach this as if it truly was a matter of amt of shots within the same time frame. Just for fun.
Since making a shot is based on skill, hitting 5/5 would certainly "widen the skill gap" in comparison to 4/4.
Less shots to kill isn't necessarily more of a penalty because your opponent has to make his shots too. This point is at relative parity with 5 shots. A shot missed in a 4 shot scenario would not be as big a deal to the clip as a shot missed in the 5sk parameter, assuming the clip size was static in both scenarios.
GG's! Invasion maps were.. interesting. Weren't too bad.

Forgive me if I've missed someone saying this on here already but some halocouncil guys brought up something few have noticed so far, you don't get hit out of scope when taking damage.
You should've said you were on your way there too, what a coincidence!! Then you would get to the bathroom and for the following 10min you would listen to the Frank O'Connor make fake peeing/pooping noises on a stall. Would've been a great story to tell your grandkids someday.
That's how I would describe them. I think they suffer from the same problems that the standard Invasion maps do: third phase is a turkey shoot for defenders, attacking spawns are too easily camped with precision weapons, and bases are extremely easy to hole up in during Phase 3. In particular, Floodgate and Broadcast's third phases involve the attackers walking across an open stretch of land that comprises nearly a full quarter of Paradiso with no cover to capture the core, which reminds me of Breakpoint's biggest issue. At least Boneyard and Spire offer some line of sight blocks between the enemy spawn and the capture point.

And hearing about being able to spawn Overshield via Ordnance Drops ... I'm not down with that. Overshield and camo should still be pick-ups, I think. The idea is good though.
Are Scattershot/grenade pistol Ordnance Drop-only?

Mmh, something i've wanted for a long time (simply because i've always found this very annoying, specifically in the campaign). Yet worrying at the same time... makes harassing snipers a lot harder. Also, while scoped in you might not notice the guy/be able to react as fast to the guy who comes up close and starts ARing you.

DMR, AR, Pistol have bloom. I think there is another weapon too.
I hope that it still takes you out of scope when using the sniper rifle, but I'm glad that a piece of Halo's gunplay I've always thought to be misguided and annoying is gone. In Reach there was practically no way to fight back if you were being DMR'd from across the map.

I'm only going by what I see in the video and it appears that it zooms only as far as the BR.
Indeed, at least sniper should be unscoped when hit.
Maybe they changed this due to those DMR fights and the fact the DMR is back?
In Halo 3, this wasn't a big issues as i wouldn't use the scope in BR fights anyway, only when shooting someone who couldn't fight back.
Bloom is purely visual for a firing rate.
In Halo 3, if you were far enough away from someone to have to use the BR scope, you weren't going to hit them much anyway.

That is true. But you know, someone going sideways relative to you or something like that, those were good tims to use the scope, helps your shooting but no real drawbacks.
