I was 24 when Halo was released. My dad got it at the same time when he was 52. He has completed all of them on legendary. Both hyped for H4.

Damn, that's awesome that your dad plays games at his age. All the older people in my family can't even figure out how to use a dual analog controller. They're helpless with anything more advanced than an SNES controller.

Why would they introduce a whole new enemy class, which includes buildings, colours, potential factions and all that to drop short on vehicles? It doesn't add up to me and I think we'll see those vehicles show up soon or when we get the game.

Wow, the Binary Rifle looks disgustingly awesome. From what I can tell, it's so impressively balanced with the good and bad trade-offs for using it. It's a one-shot, but only when scoped. It's virtually useless while no-scoping (aside from close-range). If you're scoped, the lasers instantly give your position away. Such a powerful weapon with little ammo available. Players who get really, really good with this weapon is going to be such a pleasure to watch. I'm really, really, really, really, really friggin' excited to watch MLG gameplay in Halo 4 with all these new weapons.

Anybody remember the days when forgers said that there was no reason to forge in Halo: Reach because it was too easy now? All the skill in forging is apparently in geo-merging, ghost merging, and interlocking. Needz moar interlocking.

I don't know about Halo 3, but in Reach you can throw a grenade while charging your plasma pistol and actually still keep it charged afterwards. If you let go of the trigger it would fire directly after throwing the grenade.

It's certainly a powerful sounding gun, however I think the risks the player endures while using it makes it decently balanced. That's what I'm thinking anyways, however I'm definitely going to have to try it out so myself to make sure.

True, I didn't even think of that. If that's how it turns out to be, the power definitely needs to be toned down when unscoped.

I'd be okay with it if it had some sort of severe sway to it. I've been poop socking Borderlands 2 recently, and a lot of the snipers in that game have that, and I think it could work with the binary rifle.

Oh, and the binary rifle is an awesome name.

Boltshot is definitely headshot capable, and yeah, same here. Looks really fun to use, and sounds awesome. As far as primary goes, I have absolutely no idea. I kind of want to go with the the default BR or the Carbine with that grey/yellow skin, just cause they look awesome. I'm sure I'll use the DMR in BTB. And I'm not sold on the Light Rifle. Still looks slow and clunky to me, despite the many first hand accounts saying otherwise, heh.

Welp considering my love for the sword you've just helped me decide what other weapon to test second on the 6th.

....It does look a tad OP though, a foot shot is all it takes? Wow. Definitely have to see it in action, or be on the receiving end of it before I pass judgement.
