You know that there is a Built-In No-HUD bullshot-maker in H2v, right?
I forget which function button it is, probably f11?
It takes SUPER HIGH-RES shots with prety good AA, and in uncompressed .TIFF format too.
They end up in the 'My Documents' folder with your game.
I was posting these type of screens before, I'll see if I can dig them up.

There should 1vs100 style quick multiplayer (halo related) trivia questions in the matchmaking lobby to kill time, if for some reason it's taking awhile. Correct answer net some credits, streaks net a multiplier.

I think the best part about that game is that I use a wireless 360 controller with my PC, connected to my HDTV. And because there's aim assist in the game, it's like I'm playing Halo 2 anniversary.

That's awesome! Guess that means I can turn off FRAPS too because F11 is my FPS counter hotkey. As for AA, I'm playing with 4x SGSSAA so IQ is pretty stellar already.
That's what I'm doing as well, albeit with a wired controller. So if anyone wants screenshots of any particular areas then it's gotta be stop and stare moments. I'm not reaching over to my keyboard to hit F11 during the middle of a cinematic.

Halo 2 Vista is completely stupid when it comes to 5.1 Surround. Set it to "Windows default" in the in-game audio menu while my sound card is set to 5.1 and I only get Stereo. Set it to 5.1 in the in-game audio menu and I get terrible crackly sound. :/

It wont even allow me to play at my native res of 2560x1440 :/
I'd like to play through it some more but the IQ is just as terrible as it is on consoles having to scale it up from 1080

And it's probably thanks to the community reception to the terrible port that makes MS think that PC players don't want halo.
Yup! Again Halo 2 (PC) could EASILY be given life again if it got a Steam release along side a patch that doesn't make it a complete piece of shit.

and Halo 2 Anniversary will never come to PC either.
MS can't even be bothered to release it on the GFW store so you can input your key and easily redownload it.
That shit was disowned the minute it went out the door by everyone involved.
Although your initial kill was weak, the subsequent 3 were pretty good, up until you met your match at your death.

Fucking Shadowrun, a game MS put out and bombed horribly and sold way less than Halo 2 Vista.
That game is acknowledged and more supported by MS than their own franchise game.
