Agreed. It's a great incentive, and let's face it, gamers aren't the most collective political savvy people on the planet. It's a topic that most people should be informed about. You don't have to be interested in it, just informed nonetheless. It's crazy how some people couldn't care less about who's running the country they live in or how it operates.

On a similar note, the saying "It doesn't matter who you vote for, just vote!" is complete fucking horse shit. It doesn't just not matter, it's the only thing that does matter. It's the whole fucking point.

Beat me to it. Although it is their right to do so, people who vote and aren't informed do nothing except devalue my own vote. I'm not telling anyone not to vote, but in the interest of your countrymen, at least make an effort to learn what/who you are supporting with your vote.

But on a more serious note, does anyone have links to the official platforms of both candidates and the parties? I'll do my research on both of them when I don't have a mountain of homework and when it gets a bit closer to election day. Even though I'm fairly confident in which candidate I'm voting for, I don't want to write off 47% of the candidates before the election takes place.

That could work. I was also thinking it could be called the Flood Trilogy, thing is neither one really fully describes that period of story. Covenant War Trilogy kind of works I guess, since the Flood and Halos were pretty important to that.
In my case I would have watched it online later, this just gives me a reason to see it live. :/

It's not that crazy. I see a bunch of people complaining about this and that, but they don't do anything whatsoever. I try to positively influence people in my life, but I don't make politics part of it. Politically what can we do? Know your rights so you don't get screwed, volunteer, what else? Voting is pointless for me, my state is not a swing state.
I just said it wasn't crazy to not be involved in politics. Do a majority of people you know take political action? Probably not. Do they argue about politics? Most definitely.

I'm only tuning into the debates to see where each candidate stands on the most serious and immoral crisis of our time: buttchugging. This is a situation that is now known all over the world but neither candidate has stepped forward to address it. I assume they will do that tonight.
