Well commendations have been useless imo, but the service record itself is nice. But I mean things like heatmaps. I fail to see how they can help me. I'm pretty sure I know where the power/death areas are on maps without Bungie's science telling me.
They need more things that will be widely used. Honestly, now is a good time to bring back the clan system. Imagine that they will have Ranked, Social, and Clan Arena. You have seasons and divisions and such in the Clan Arena. Party of 4 required.
Use Waypoint or whatever 343 will be using and help organize Halo events. Something to make the multiplayer experience feel a little more alive. 343 is a company DEDICATED to Halo. They should show even more support and community interaction that Bungie did.

The only thing we have to go on is the fact that the CEmake rumours have persisted over the past few months, all from "anon." sources.
If there's no Halo at all at E3 we can't blame MS/343i for setting up false expectations.

I would get tons of angry messages that I was cheating, when really, they had a huge advantage. But, because I would still win I got cheating complaints and eventually got banned for it. Pretty hilarious.

Black Ops can render directly to YouTube. While I don't see this happening for Bungie's new IP because of the existence of their current system (which they likely make a profit from), I'm sure it'll be expanded on in the future. On the topic of bnet features, what I'd like to see most from bnet feature expansion is more detail on the online friends widget they have. Currently it just has the game or application they're currently using, but adding the second and third lines that Xbox.com and the dashboard currently have would make me a happy camper (and it would mean I'd never have to visit xbox.com again, since it's one of the slowest sites to render that I've ever seen).
Because maps designed for Invasion are god awful when not playing vanilla Invasion, where they're at least acceptable? So many half-baked ideas, so little time.Steelyuhas said:

Also, we didn't shit the bed. You may have thought that cause you weren't in the games very long, but we actually were in each game to the very end. Even with people dying, like myself and Nutter, trying to invite you back to the game.

That's certainly setting a high quality bar (I know you made the joke already, but I can never get my fill of trashing Paradiso). I'd actually agree with you on Breakpoint, but decent is as high as I could go for many gametypes. It just suffers from some unfortunate carryovers from its Invasion roots - the rigid compartmentalization of the map, for one, and non-Invasion objective and weapon placements existing seemingly as afterthoughts, which brings problems like the laser to the forefront.Steelyuhas said:

The worst thing about that period was that H2 was pretty much the only game I could play online, it was the only one that would reconnect you mid-game. I would have probably been playing a ton of other games, but when I lagged out in other games, I actually lagged out, and never came back to that game.
Hmm, I got my old modem out and direct connected it and didn't get dropped the rest of the night. I've had this router since Christmas though, and haven't changed any settings on it, I'm not sure why it would be giving me problems now. :|
