Opinion on reticule bloom.
Meh, don't totally hate it, but don't love it either.
Opinion on Armor Abilities and what's the one you usually favor in MP.
Nice addition to Halo and should be included in H4 (even if its not in mainstream MM) and I tend to use AL is Slayer games, Evade whenever possible.
Why are you a Halo fan?
I really like the multiplayer and the community is excellent. There's tons of stuff to do in Halo games and it offers variety (Race,Infection, grifball etc) that most other FPS do not.

I just started dating the woman who would become my wife in the early part of 2002, and at the time I hadn't played a video game since the Intellivision years (yes, I'm that old). She asked me if I ever heard of a game that she was playing called Halo: Combat Evolved and we then proceeded to spend many a night playing Co-op campaign and 1v1-ing each other on the MP maps (hour long matches on Sidewinder, seriously). From then on I was hooked by the story and the gameplay, and now I'm just another Halo junkie waiting out the workday to get my fix in.
Oddly enough, my mania for Halo has since turned my wife off to playing it with me. At least that's what she says; I think it's because she can't kick my ass anymore.

I met my wife at a HALO CE LAN party. Been married for 3 years now.

1. One of the reasons Frankie listed for the exclusion of CE multiplayer was the so-called overpowered 3s pistol
2. If it was included, it would have to be projectile based (like the needle rifle) and, for me, they'd have to change the physics via a TU to allow a more fluid strafe; otherwise a 3sk would be too easy on Reach.

I'm eager but I can't say I'm excited yet. I didn't think her story in Evolutions was that great not bad I don't think. It was okay.
I would only take 400 pages if they were written by this monkey.Dani said:Id even take 400 pages of new Halo written by a monkey at this point.

Alternately, all will be forgiven if one of the CE:A maps is Terminal.
What? The Real Napsta said:Why do people like Terminal so much? It was bad for everything but 1 flag and assault IMO.

Because it played 1 Flag and Assault so well. Halo needs to get back to the gametype-specific maps and stop with the 'jack of all trades, master of none' blandness. The Real Napsta said:Why do people like Terminal so much? It was bad for everything but 1 flag and assault IMO.
And for the same reason: the Mythic maps were all completed at the same time, but the second half were held back to be tied into ODST. Though in this case the bundling seems to be planned more in advance.Dani said:Wasn't there like a year wait between Mythic Part One and then ODST dropping with the final maps - then Mythic Part Two went on sale months after that?
That seemed like a massive year + drought between DLC availability. I doubt we'll see one before CEA or even after. And Frankie confirmed the CEA DLC will be available outside of CEA sooner than the ODST window.
The CEA DLC is like two releases in one, making four altogether. If I recall Halo 3 was originally meant to have four too, until Mythic was split up.
It still might be possible to see another DLC next year. Then again we'll have Halo 4 next year and most likely a beta event too.

The DLC does seem to be about parity, as Halo 3 saw Heroic and Legendary, then Cold Storage, then the two Mythic maps, for a total of 13 DLC maps. With Reach we get Noble and Mythic, then the seven in the CEA, for a total of 13. (Though, 11 MP and 2 FF.)
I'm also not expecting any other Reach maps, as I think once CEA hits, the focus will shift to Halo 4. Beta in spring, tied to CEA, etc.

Would it be feasible for 343i to rerelease the Defiant Map Pack with compatibility for the Classic++ Playlist? Just update the map files with whatever magic they're pouring into the CEA maps? That could be related to that mysterious helmet we saw in the trailer...
ncsuDuncan said:What I'm getting out of that is we need another Cold Storage. How exactly did that map come about again? It was sponsored by Mountain Dew, right?
