Stuff like that, frankly, is why I'm waiting to play MP until they fix most of the bugs. I've played a decent bit of the campaigns, but I'm very adament to do anything serious (Legendary, LASO, or achievement runs) until they fix the disappearing saves and issues there. Basically, I'm putting the game down until most of this stuff is fixed. My friends were bitching at me the other day for being a debbie downer when I told them I'd rather be playing Destiny or Titanfall right now over MCC. But, in my defense, these are people that enjoy SMG starts on Bloodline. Had you told me that I would be playing them before MCC came out, I'd die of laughter. Now, it's the cruel reality

Must be getting actual good players on the small team. It's definitely possible to win if you are on the team if two in 2v4. Hasn't worked for me yet cause I've yet to have matchmaking work with my friends and my experience has been the exact opposite of yours. Just getting absolutely destroyed by a team mate that runs out in the open.

I've already gotten 80 achievements. And there's still a ton I want to get. I love what 343 has done with them.
I know, but the game gave me the option "Hold X to pick up the flag" when I was on defense. I pressed X and the flag got reset. This was within 5 seconds or so of it being dropped. Here's the clip.

Playing this matchmaking just made me miss Reach. I know, blasphemy. That's my favorite Halo game.
But Reach's Invasion is good.
Just try to push ahead, don't ever let him get in front of you. Constant grenades and use the PP.

I'm actually very interesting in Invasion-like scenarios in H2A Forge thanks to the scripting; I think Invasion was a cool idea but the third-phase meatgrinders turned me off from it.

I know, tonight has been horrible. I've been playing TMCC since launch and it's been smooth, but tonight is the first night I've been actually calling out BS.90% of the matches I get into feel like P2P. We were promised Dedicated Servers, not this crap.
Tonight has been frustrating with all the lag.

Trying but im stuck at that one part where u gotta wait for the dialog to finish and a bunch of grunts come in. He's dying in like 1 grunt shot and now my own marines seem to want him dead too they keep chucking grenades a foot away from him or me blowing one of us up.

Yeah, there was a thread about it a little while back. Going to be focusing on gameplay and performance before resolution.
I still remember the first time I got a perfection in Halo 3. Back in 2007. On the Pit. Had the sniper off the tower for the 15th kill before the time ran out. Man. That was tense. Shit like that along with my first nuke in MW2 will always be remembered.
I think the highest I've ever gotten legitimately was Rampage. Striving to get that Invincible one day. Infected doesnt count tho. Let's be real. Lol.

Yeah. So early and at 60 fps it's not a surprise though. 60fps is important for the beta.
The surfaces/materials and lighting look brilliant in the little bits we've seen. I'm glad the ledge grab thing requires a button push.

Yup. I don't care what technical magic 343i does, there's going to be aliasing in this game and poor texture filtering.
It's better on Legendary.

You should give it a shot. Halo 1 Flood combat can remain fluid on legendary, upbeat dancing.

I will give it a try, but when I get more familiar to the game overall. Its my first time ever playing the series! I started on Heroic but at level 3 (Truth and Reconciliation) I got my ass kicked inumerous times so I decided to lower the difficult to normal. lol

Ugh. Just ran into my first achievement glitch. Just beat Halo 3 and the achievements for beating every level on X difficulty are at 88%
Edit: never mind, apparently didn't count Sierra 117 as completed because the game crashed on me and lost my progress so I restarted it at rally point B.

Oh, not sure about that part. I got lucky and did that on my first try. Just killed the grunts with the plasma pistol as fast as I could.

Man that H2A campaign was a blast. Did it on normal though cause I sure as hell am not about to do legendary runs with saves being buggy. Those Blur cutscenes were absolutely phenomenal though. There were a few minor issues such as areas that were too dark, music being too loud in certain cutscenes, and Halo Channel wouldn't load one of the terminals for me. But other than that I loved the whole thing, which isn't surprising since I spent so much time playing it back in the day and there's a lot of nostalgia with it.
Finally tried some H2 multi and damn I'm such a scrub lol. Certainly doesn't help that I don't remember weapon spawns, and some of these maps I've never even played on since I never had XBL back then.
