I can't seem to force the update

Hard reboot the Xbox (hold the power button down for 5 seconds).

Seems I'm not the only one having this problem.

Edit: Oh god, stuck at "Downloading the latest matchmaking data."

My Xbox got stuck on the update screen and froze until I hard rebooted it. Now its downloading the 1.1gb update.

Purchasing an X1 was the worst big purchase I've ever made.

Even if they fix the glitches, I'm almost certain they won't tighten up H3 and H4's suspect multi player frame rate. I hope they are booed by Halo fans every time they have a conference available to the public.

I was part of that club too. Now I'm stuck at 86%.

But yeah, I'm guessing it'll go to 100% soon.

What the hell. I started the update, before it gave any percentages it just Queued. Had to fight with it to start updating. I would click "Install Now" and then it would just revert back to "Queue." It did it a few times before it started installing the update.

Pretty sure that's an intentional thing. One of the recent updates did it. Stops all the weird stuff happening like joining random people's custom games.

Yeah mine jumped from 47% to 66% to 100% in quick succession. I think the counter is broken lol. Also just got match made to a H2A game in ~1-2 mins so that's good. Full lobby of 10 people too.

im sure its cause a lot of people dont have the patch yet, but im stuck at players found for team halo 2 which worked fine-ish before the patch (besides crashes, uneven teams, etc). And big team battle STILL stuck on "searching for players" constantly.

You shouldn't be able to play with the same people constantly after a match. You could easily boost stats/rank.

That's not what happened in the previous games.

You'd stick with your party or go straight back into matchmaking unless you wanted otherwise. With this system you have to re enter matchmaking yourself.
