Camera companies don't rely on AI.With Sony and AMD working in partnership now, I'd expect steady improvement going forwards.
To be honest, given Sony's expertise with optical sensors I'd imagine they'd have a lot of technical/scientific people already researching this area, but probably lacked the sort of massive computational resources to iterate rapidly on the AI side - which I'd imagine AMD do have... so likely a very potent alliance for improving this sort of tech.
AMD is crazy. Instead of showing off high quality direct feed or screenshots they have youtubers doing funky offscreen comparisons.
Event seems planned 15th January. There you will get alot infoAMD is crazy. Instead of showing off high quality direct feed or screenshots they have youtubers doing funky offscreen comparisons.
AMD caught wind of what Nvidia was going to do, how it was going to market the 50 series and decided to postpone the announcement because the presentation they prepared would make them look like idiots.AMD is crazy. nope, 9070Xt is faster than 4080superpositioning of the cards they will directly compete with (4070/4070ti?).
I wouldn't call the pricing of the 5000 cards "aggressive", tbh. The cards are still vastly overpriced. Just less overpriced than the 4000 series.Thats why aggressive pricing.
Based on which benchmarks?nope, 9070Xt is faster than 4080super
Here is and AMD saying result are low, not final driverBased on which benchmarks?
Sorry, I meant 5070/5070ti. The rumors want the 9070xt to, at best, trade blows with the 4080super, so we'll see.nope, 9070Xt is faster than 4080super
It is also the game where FSR 3 struggled the most.Interesting! It looks great and very similar to PSSR! No wonder the Demo is running on a Sony's game and on one of the games that best shows the improvements from FSR 3.1
Performance means nothing without a price.
Isn't it peculiar, that allegedly pro-AMD biased reviewer has exactly 0 "very early preview", while glorious PF, the hyper of anything that comes from NV's unhinged marketing, including, but not limited to "8k gaming with 3090", "3080 is 2 times faster than 2080", keeps getting green scheisse for review before anyone else?AyyyMD Unboxed lol
380mm2 chips.![]()
Price rumos is too good, i don't believe in this price
Kepler calculate it looks like 320-330380mm2 chips.
Yeah, I barely felt his tensor cores on me this time. Just a light tap as opposed to the usual forceful penetration.Although it could explain why Huang was so soft on his customers this time.
479 for 4080 Super performance is something I would believe if we were in 2016, but that ship has sailed.![]()

Why not. I mean, besides that most of the time it is major FPS drop for nothing. No pathtracing
I'm pretty sure we are decades behind the curve with AMD. Clearly, FSR 4 has none of these goodies, that DLSS 4 can boast:I'm sure its fine.
These guys are fucking AMD shills.AyyyMD Unboxed lol

Same as DF NV shillsThese guys are fucking AMD shills.
And I imagine the births result in even more AMD shills, we now know how they multiply. These guys are fucking AMD shills.

That is what Nvidia boost does by design.it's OC
The only issue I have with FSR4 is that no matter how good it might be compared with FSR3, AMD are just so far behind NVIDIA with AI upscaling that I would personally find it near impossible to consider ever buying one of their GPUs. NVIDIA have a 5 year head start on AI upscaling and several years on ray-tracing too over AMD. It makes AMD GPUs second class products in my eyes. Fine for consoles but I would not want one in my gaming PC, even if they were much cheaper.
AMDUnboxed: "it looks great so heres some offscreen proof"
People hate them but there's a reason they're always discussed. People here care more about pixel peeping than they want to admitIncredible how incompetent these outlets are for upscaling analysis. Almost have to wait for Digital Foundry
HU is good. Tim has some of the best content and knowledge when it comes to those upscaling tech. What do you mean? They aren't biased /s
