Seriously? Fuck, which one? Or was it DLC?
GH5
the game was horrendous but it had Brianstorm and 21st Century Schizoid Man, which is more than we can say about a Harmonix game

Should we get a next-gen Rock Band, unless they find a way to let my old stuff import from 360 over to PS4, I will be ignoring the series. I invested far too much money and I'm happy to bust out the 360 if I ever need to play though.
Brianstorm is boring as hell on instruments that aren't drums. R U Mine is the better choice.
A subscription service should work pretty nicely IMO. I invested a couple hundred into my 360 but would still be extremely willing to buy a next gen rockband set, I'd just select DLC I really liked this time around or wait for a sale or something.
If I had only invested a couple hundred I might feel differently. Last I checked my RB3 library was at around 700 songs. That does include RB1/2/Lego imports and freebies, but even after that, I've spent a huge sum.
Yeah 700 is a bit much lol, what is that, around $1400 at $1.99 a song? I know they had packs to reduce it but I just didn't have that much money back then haha. Not sure how they'd allow for importing, especially from 360 to PS4 but I'll hope for it aswell!
First things first, which will be I want a new Rock Band!

So, who wants to play tommorow when the DLC comes out? Got no 360 mic sadly, I mainly play Expert Guitar & Bass.
This is awesome. I'm not expecting weekly DLC but hopefully this opens the door back up for monthly. I've been with c3 every week for the customs, but will support hamonix tomorrow by buying everything.
Can't wait!
Kind of wish I had a 360 to play tomorrow, sold mine though :S
You dun goofed son!

Dang, to think at least 100,000 different people log into Rock Band each month makes me think the interest is still there for DLC/next-gen Rock Band 4. I wonder if this counts the people (like me) that only really play RB3 offline now to play custom songs (C3 is awesome). Also, an interesting fact from the livestream is that Rock Band still has UUs in the six digits every month. They couldn't say the specific number since another company got the numbers for them.

I wonder if this is a legacy deal they had or something. It just seems really random anyway.
So there is a chance for Seperate Ways to make it in. Fingers crossed!

Getting "Anyway You Want It" back from RB2 would be nice as well. And if they can't re-license the album version, the brilliant 1980 houston live version woud suffice!.

None of the Journey songs have relicensed. I wouldn't put much hope into getting back any of their songs
It's not hard to believe. Harmonix did a fantastic job of keeping the community engaged with the game with the DLC schedule, so there was always something new for players to try out. Being 100% on top of the DLC aspect of the game from day 1 is one of the biggest reasons why it was destined to have a better retention than Guitar Hero, despite the generally larger sales for that series.
Does this mean there's a 0.000000001% higher chance that we might get more Beatles DLC?
I never understood why GH had the spastic DLC schedule it did.
