Just got my first Perfect, on Ashes to Ashes. Which I assume will be a lot of people's first Perfect since it's suuuuuuuper easy.
I'm pleasantly surprised at the DLC being available day one. Totally picking up the extra Vocaloids.

The animation in World's End Umbrella is painful to look at. I actually found it distracting since it was so awful.
Also, what does giving gifts/decorating rooms/touching and petting vocaloids/raising affinity in general do?
I completely agree with you on the star notes in your review; I can't stand them. If they wanted to add an analog element they should have added effectors to the song or something... but by that point, the game would pretty much turned into Sound Voltex (minus all of the Touhou music).* I still hate the Star notes, even while some here on GAF have argued that I'm wrong in why I hate them..
This is a TRUTHFACT. Please believe.* Luka still = best Vocaloid. FACT.

I am so blood-suckingly miserable at this game. I just can't get the timing down and I'm fairly sure it's not the calibration as that's done very little for me. It's weird because I've played games like Elite Beat Agents and Gitaroo Man before but this one just...it's like the button presses aren't actually in time with the music or I'm not hitting them that way or something. It's weird.
Man, I really wish the game let you play on Hard or Extreme right away. Having to grind through everyone on Normal and then on Hard is tedious at times,
Holy shit, I am awful. I can't even complete the first two songs on normal mode ;_;

You'll get better! That is pretty much my experience playing the first game on the PSP.
Man I hope so though I'm honestly getting tired of hearing Cat Food and Secret Police I suppose this being my first Miku game and all I should expect there to be a pretty large learning curve.

Easy is the best thing to do if you're having trouble so you at least unlock more songs to play.
I refused to do that and I beat World is Mine eventually!
that vocaloid "Seeeegaaaaa"
oh man. I know I'm going to have a real love/hate with this game.
edit: I can't believe the tutorial is Ievan Polkka. That is amazing
Swallow your pride, swallow it!
My hands are broken, thank you negi posi!
I expect you to clear it next time you're streaming. >:3
So you basically want to pay attention to the actual clock and try to hit the notes when the hand moves to the 12 o'clock spot?
I put a banner up so people didn't get the wrong idea about me

It's really a combination of paying attention to both the clock hand and the approaching coloured note. I'm having a hard time describing it, but it becomes second nature with practice.
You mean love/love, right?

Got my copy! Apparently only 2 came in and both were preordered, one being mine. At least 2-3 people came in today according to clerk looking for it, but denied~
Not a site I frequent personally, but EGMNOW reviewed PDF and gave it an 8.
For these new scratch markers, instead of using either the d-pad or the DualShock 2s face buttons, you flick one of the analog sticks in any direction when note and marker meet.
Is the DLC song not available yet? I don't see it in PlayStation Store.

Not yet! It's just the Neru, Haku, Teto pack right now, with Snow Miku 2013 in timed GameStop exclusivity.
This is shidoshi's review! He posted it a page back.
