What is the catch. There has to be a catch.
200+ songs is ridiculous.
I want to believe, but can't help but be suspicious. It's very definitely too good to be true.

I don't think it will all be included. If I had to guess, I'd say the game is a free download with different methods of paying for the songs, like pay per play, buy a song (or song pack?) to play how many times you want, or maybe a subscription.
I'm not interested if it's pay for play or requires a subscription, but I'd pay a good amount of money for the full package
I will pay anything for this. Just give it to me

If you're looking for market precedent for this sort of thing, beatmania IIDX INFINITAS launched last month using a subscription model. It launched with few songs to start but songs are being added monthly; the catch is that the new songs rotate and if you don't subscribe during a month a particular set of songs are offered, you can't get them until they are offered again.

They did say that a physical edition would be released if there is enough fanfare. I can't image a physical game with a F2P model.
Just give us a date Sega. 213 songs will be amazing
Agreed, but the execution of the delivery may either make or break this deal for even the most hardcore Project Diva consumer.
I wonder if the game will have every difficulty unlocked straight away or whether it be like the others in which you have to play normal, then hard and finally extreme. If it's the latter it would take forever to get all the songs on extreme (not like I'm complaining though)
Goddamn, I can't seem to beat Gaikkatsu no Riria or whatever it's called (the song with the dancing skeletons) on Hard in Project Mirai DX. It's all that's keeping me from claiming this as "Completed". Any advice? I don't even care about getting a high rank, just not dying.
Use both hands and change the inputs to direction arrows, if you haven`t already.
I love this song and it`s harder than the ones that have an extra difficulty. You really need to time well the fast parts and remember that in, one part, the song will try to throw your tempo off (in the piano solo). Other than that, practice.
How do you unlock super hard tracks?
New Weekly Diva Station update: retailer-specific bonuses have been revealed. Some relevant ones:
Amazon.co.jp: PS Vita original system theme
AmiAmi: IC card case (original neck strap)
Neowing (CD Japan): original microfiber towel
Sega Store: original tapestry (B3 size)
The full list will appear on the official site, though there are no images yet.
Kinda wish I had pre-ordered from CD Japan now but I will live with my choices.
Where did you preorder from? If AmiAmi, the listing that includes the neck strap isn't up yet. The current listing there only has the Aime card bonus all preorders should receive.
AmiAmi. I'm cool with foregoing the neck strap since skipping their exclusives usually saves a few yen.
AmiAmi and CD Japan do. That is the correct price point and release date though.Any of those stores send internationally ?
Just saw that the Vita version was around 6k yen in Nippon Yasan and it launches in march ._.
What is the word on scratch notes in Diva X? I didn't see any regular or link scratches in the video, though they did have the chance time star. They were significantly less of an issue in F2nd thanks to the stick support, but I wouldn't miss them if they weren't in X. Playing MGF without them was nice.
If I tried to put my hatred of this track into words it'd probably sound like Miku's seizure at the end of it. Anyway, that's all 94 Diva F/2nd tracks perfected on Hard.
Wonder if they are making one of those huge controllers again for the PS4 version?
How will the slidey thing work for PS4 is my real question.

Hajimete no Oto being a stand alone is wierd. I was hoping they would stick returning songs to medleys, after F2nd I don't really want another game full of throwbacks.
